  1. Re:They are stealing from the mouth on Digital Music Enjoys Golden Week · · Score: 2, Funny

    Yep, and so it goes.

Yesterday you were a conservative artist making music for children about jesus and evil terrorists and today you find yourself being a juppy-pinko-lefty liberal, worshipping the flying spaghetti monster and at the altar of the church of sub-genius, downloading Metallica albums from soulseek, chatting in the evil depths of what is the so-called internet relay chat, downloading free porn, and posting comments on Slashdot*.

Won't someone please think of the starving child artists?

Are you too lazy to do the math?
    2560 * 1600
    ----------- = 13.333... as many dead pixels on a 2560x1600 display as on a 640x480
    640 * 480
Given that it's Dell who is selling those display, I say we round that number and get 14.

So two dead pixels times fourteen equals, what, 28? 28 dead pixels. Sounds like a blockbuster to me.

The VW Beetle was a car reknowned for reliability. One of its key features was its extremely simple mechanical design. It also happened to be air-cooled (I am not sure for the motivation for that design choice but I bet it had something to do with simplicity).
Yes, and nice thing is that the passenger cabin was air-cooled, too.

Meaning, the heater didn't work at all or only in those situation where didn't want the heater to work (+25C).

We would all benefit if they converted copyright to saleright (meaning that you need a license/congressman to be allowed to make a profit by selling recordings/whatever) and drop copyright alltogether. Well, my friend got a 400GB hard-drive for about 200 bucks. How much data will there be store? A terabyte a day? That isn't really that much. Two-and-a-half hard-drives. Maybe even one hard-drive in a couple of months. And then we have HD-DVDs, BR-DVDs, and holographic data storage mediums (I remember something about Turner networks using holographic storage). I bet that storage won't be a problem at all.

Oh, and: this helps the economy and thus kills terrorists. So be a good citizen, err, I mean consumer, and pay for the storage we use to spy on you.
