Considering that space exploration resourses are limited we have to look for life in places where it has high probabilities of existing AND we have to be able to get to those places easily. Life perhaps could exist on places on venus, but the best spacecraft don't last even a few hours on venus so looking for life there would be futile and destined for failure. Titan on the other hand is chemically similar to early earth and if it has an ocean then that would have spread life all over the whole moon so no matter where the probe lands, if life exists it has a good chance of finding it.

Because compared to Western Canada, eastern canada IS another country. Eastern Canadians have the arrorgant and ignorant belief that they are the the center of the world (Toronto being called 'the center of the universe', Ottawa referring to it as 'Central Canada') and the rest of Canada is frontier land that is there to be exploited. If Eastern Canadians had a clue what the rest of the country was like besides their own little self-centered corner of it, they would know that policies like bilingualism the gun registry are wrong.

The (un)fortunate truth that most Ottawanians don't realize, is that once you get a few hours outside of Ottawa, say past Sudbury, Ottawa becomes very insignificant in the hearts and minds of the people.

Kid, these have been in movies ever since movies began, and became popular in the 60's, if not earlier.

    Here's a better list.

-Sword/thunder sound effects during opening cuts:Excalibur

    -Surveying the GOTH city:Batman
-Same girl jumping off of tall building:Bionic Woman
-And landing hard and walking away:Bionic Woman
    -Wolf things crawling on walls:Ghostbusters
-Straight arm face hit which flips the opponent 270 degrees:Mortal Combat
-Character running way faster than humanly possible:like come on, you can't be so naive to think that the matrix was the first to to this? The Six million Dollar man
-And jumping on a car and stabbing through the roof :Exactly, many movies:Terminator for one, T2 for another

So what's next? A movie has a car jumping over somthing so it is copying Dukes of Hazzard? Or because Vin Diesel is is bald he is copying Kojak, who copied Yul Brinner? Of course I doubt you know any of these people or shows I mentioned.

And you're bragging about this joke healthcare system Canada has? Most industrialized countries have better healthcare than Canada. Canadian Medicare pays for the basics and that's it. If my employer didn't provide private medical insurance I would have had to pay thousands in the last 18 months. In the states my treatment would have been long finished, even in a public hospital.

and everything else that makes us different.
