    Burnouts are not about acceleration. It's about tire smoke, doing donuts and having fun.

    BTW while doing burnout, tires lose traction. For acceleration you need all traction you can get.

    Grinding on the other hand typically describes doing something with no challenge, for the sake of gathering resources or equipment to use later.

    In real life it's called 'work'.

    I play games to have fun, like splashing zombies in L4D, or to go through interactive story (L.A. Noire). Or to be scared to death in a dark empty room of System Shock 2 where suddenly something jumps at you.

    The real solution to this is to go back to 80x25 screens, and better short-term memory. You think I'm joking, but I'm not.
    On 10" screen with 300 ppi and proper fonts the 80x25 text mode will just look great.
    Let's keep VGA compatibility with some style.

    Ok, and what's wrong with idea of rocket capable to return to Earth, carrying just one-way tank of fuel? The astronauts could refuel themselves directly on Mars, if there is really water.

    Two months of melting the ice, electrolyzing water and compressing O2 and H2 could create enough fuel to return. First send supplies and equipment by unmanned one-way ship. After everything has safely landed, send astronauts next.

    Anyway because of Mars lower gravity, less fuel would be necessary to return from Mars to Earth.

    HM Vehicles Free-Way This one was made in Minnesota in the late 70's and early 80's. Every once and a while I see one at a car show.

    How far can this can go?
    Once climatofanatics realize how much CO2 is produced by simple fact that human beings are breathing and that they also fart a lot of methane, will they start to kill people in a mass scale? The fanatics could also be vacuum-drying their bodies to change them into mummies in order to avoid burning and creating more CO2.

    It could be an crazy idea for a movie, however nazi concentration and liquidation camps were real and nazi fanatism was also based on crazy ideas.

    Actually, the black hole is already existing and growing. At the moment, it sucks money only. And yes, it's called LHC.

    Their website says the company is importer of brand products from Italy and other countries. So we can expect some Italians are involved...

    How do they calculate probability of something that never happenned?

    LHC is an experimental device, the scientists built it in order to learn new things about universe. Honestly, they don't know exactly what will happen when they start it, and they want to know what happens. This process is called 'an experiment'.

    If the scientists knew what will happen inside, they wouldn't have to built LHC in the first place.

    Again, how precisely can they calculate probability of something they're not sure what it does?
