My experience too. I switched from 5Ghz wifi to 2.4 and that seemed to help but didn't completely eliminate battery drain. If I run on cellular data exclusively I don't see the same battery drain problem.

It was clear then Verizon had no intention of honoring it so I switched to a set data plan. While dumping Verizon was an option I have family members who think it's a "must have". We'll see about that...
Seems like a better long term goal. US TV is rife with fake ads claiming just about anything one could imagine. Facebook is just the new version of TV.
Not that much has really changed regarding performance for the average PC user. It's good enough so why upgrade. Phones are now experiencing the same thing. Plus they are very expensive.

Since much of TV is owned by large internet providers I don't see much of a need to separate "online" from "tv".
that's why it takes someone with knowledge and experience to lead this effort. Just kidding, the POTUS and I are golf buddies...
