  1. It Makes Sense on World Map Shows Countries Requiring Open Source Software (networkworld.com) · · Score: 1

It makes sense but it doesn't make money. So don't expect to see mandated or even encouraged FOSS here in the United States on any kind of meaningful level.

Why sell support or service when you can sell that AND the software.

  2. Oh the scary spectre of doxing. Such nonsense! Public info is public info is public info. If it's such a problem then we simply need better anonymity tools or yo stop being scared of our own shadows let alone the things we may say online.

What ever happened to "sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me?"

In the Age of Feels what you speak of is now unthinkable. Just like sending your kids out to play until dark and limits on screen time, being able to handle mere words with tact is loooong gone my friend.

My thoughts exactly, especially the life sentence of Ulbricht. That is simply insane considering the harm reduction SR offered to people who were going to buy their dope anyways. 10 years max, plus 10 for each attempted murder for higher would be much more just and sane.

You can get Swipe on Android and it restores the FB+Messaging by repacking the webpage version of Facebook into something nice for use on mobile. 18. Most of us do work on our PCs and save the gaming for whenever and whatever. I'd rather put more "grunt" into the parts of my system that enables me to get work done faster or better.
For instance storage, processing power, memory and then GPU are most important in the PCs I use. Sure that translates into some gaming and I do partake but it doesn't always mean I can play the newest games even when I can get my work done with no slowdowns. I don't care much about it, it's easy enough to buy a box that allows me all these great games with standardized experiences. Graphics power in regards to gaming is worth next to nothing for many of us.
