    Not really. Tesla had a big month as they cleared a backlog due to delivery problems, but the Nissan Leaf is still the top seller.

    Note that TFA conveniently ignores sales of fossil fueled cars that were purchased new in other parts of Europe and imported as used (cars represent a large share of Norway's imports). Electric cars are still a small percentage of the total number of vehicles.

    Here's a longer article on the NASA-funded work being done by MIT. Short answer: Making a BioSuit is a Very Hard Task with a lot of engineering issues.

    Without the Senate and Electoral College the lower population states would have no voice in the government, which is the reason the government is set up the way it is. The House is elected by population and balances the Senate. There's no reason to even fantasize about changing it because that and stuffing the Supreme Court will not happen.

    And gerrymandering? Yes, both parties do it. Of course it has a far bigger impact in the bigger states like NY and CA.

    RTFA, this is rolling back an Obama rule that was pushed out as he left office. The law Bush signed is still in effect.

    There are also Federations, although those usually devolve into Republics with a strong central government and single leader, as we're seeing in the federation formerly known as the United States today.

    That's why there is widespread resistance to giving the United Nations any more authority than they already have; the path to one world government is a slippery slope.

    The only reason it still exists is to get people out spending money in the evening. The clocks aren't set back until mid-November - barely six weeks from winter solstice - to squeeze out a bit more Christmas shopping. And of course in the summer the golf courses and restaurants want people out as late as possible.

    The stocks are mostly shared in high amounts with other wealthy people who only care for the short term gain.

    Wrong and wrong. Most stocks are "owned" by middle class workers in the form of pension plans and IRAs. And wealthy people generally don't buy/sell stock very often; they buy and hold for years, sometimes generations.

    Towing a trailer is trivial so long as you don't need to back it up, and there's no reason to have an urban bus back up. The drivers wouldn't know or care that it's back there. I've towed trailers dozens of times for hundreds of miles, have you ever towed one?

    And yes, I understand that swappable battery packs seem like they would be easy, but I also observe that it isn't being done so there's probably far more to it than the self-proclaimed experts here are assuming.

    Wouldn't it be cheaper/easier to have the buses tow a trailer with their battery pack? That way they can swap out the drained one in a couple of minutes.

    It would be far better to use embryo transfer to produce a few dozen puppies from selected parents. The mother wouldn't need to be retired because they can use surrogates to carry the pups.

    Of course that assumes the female hasn't already been spayed, which has probably happened in this case.

    It might be the biggest, but arguably not as biased as USAToday, and possibly Washington Post. Also in contention are Vox, HuffPost and MSNBC, although they probably shouldn't be considered news organizations.

    I don't think you read it in context. That quote is specific to the charge of obstruction of justice, and the report says that Mueller gathered up the facts and declined to evaluate whether the activity constituted a crime

    You didn't read it correctly. What Mueller said was that without collusion there cannot be obstruction of collusion. Case closed.

    Good people are always a flight risk because they can get another job easily; but that also gives them some reassurance when they survive a layoff (been there several times). Jumping ship just because there was a layoff doesn't make sense anyway, because there's no guarantee you're going to a more secure job than the one you left.

    The US economy is doing great, it's the EU that's dragging things down. Centrally managed economies always fail, and the Green New Deal would cause a Depression (not Recession).
