Yeah but we're not talking about enterprise managers or people who know a damn thing about "superior operation and security" The splash screen is the first thing people see. Whats on the surface is what people see first, and if they like what they see, then later they find out what really makes it good.

There are a few companies that make clones of this keyboard now, complete with scroll wheel. I don't know the names of any of the clones, all of the ones I have seen are by very generic companies. My cordless Logitech keyboard that I bought ~10 months ago (theres that damn useless squigglly key thingy again) has most of the features you described.

I think his point is that it is un-professional looking, and I agree with him to an extent. It makes it look more like a nerd toy than mainstream software.

Wow that would be nice if my township did that. Comcast has bought up everything and since @HOME went under it has been nothing but crap and more crap. Downloads are 1/4 of what they used to be if I'm lucky and it's impossible to play many games cause my ping spikes to 2K every few seconds. Same story all over my town. Comcast is the AOL of cable.

I used to have a Voodoo 5 5500 PCI. I used it for a little while after I installed XP. The XP support for it was pretty bad but I got some decent performance with the 3rd party drivers which you can get here http://www.voodoofiles.com/type.asp?cat_id=1

The card was just crap period. One of the fans stopped working and it smelled funny. It pissed me off enough to fork out $400 for a gf4 ti4600 (when it had just come out) I mostly just like the fact that it will probably be a long time before I get to the point I was at with that voodoo 5. And it's nice getting new games and going straight to the video settings and putting everything to max.

How do you figure that Google New is stealing content? All it is doing is listing links to articles all over the internet. The people that paid for and publish the content benifit from it being listed on Google news. Your arguments would only be true if Google ripped the entire article and hosted it on it's servers, but they don't, google provides links to the article on the news site. What Google's doing right now benifits both Google and the news services.

I agree with you 100%. I am 16 years old. Why should I not be allowed to enjoy videogames? Just because there are a few really disturbed kids who also happened to play games, doesn't mean that I would do anything. I, as well as everyone I know, that plays videogames understands exactly what it is. I'm certainly never going to go out and kill someone just because I saw it in a game, and I am insulted by these people that assume people under 18 have no judgement or minds of their own. As if the day I turn 18 I will suddenly be mature and realize that they are only games. I have a lot of fun playing violent videogames. And I would be very angry if I suddenly wasn't allowed to because some confused and scared people thought it made a good and easy target for the blame of why school shootings happen. I bet those all those messed up kids that shot people also liked McDonalds food. But no one would even consider saying that quarter-pounders cause kids to kill. More adults kill then minors. No one tries to come up with things to blame for why adults kill. It's just that some people are disturbed to begin with and/or are provoked into their actions. Guess what, it's no different for people under 18. Why should I not be allowed to see a violent movie or play a violent videogame? People need to except that some people are just plain stupid/disturbed and stop trying to make everyone change just for them. Simply saying "ok, no one under 18 can play violent videogames, see violent movies, or listen to violent lyrics because we think it might be causing some kids to actually do what they see/hear" is not the solution. People must just accept that not everything is preventable and some things can't be controlled.

Yeah, if I had two grand to spare, one of the first things I'd think of getting is a big ass HDTV. I love watching movies and playing videogames, and the bigger and sharper the tv, the better. So does that make me an idiot for wanting to get something that I enjoy?
