  1. CENSORSHIP WTFOMG on U.S. Gov Agency Blunders With Keyword Blacklist · · Score: -1

The truth here is that we are all terrorists censoring the web by our lack of protest... Come on, censorship is a given at the beginning of a country. Opposition only makes changes difficult.

  2. This site... on Open Sourcing Innovation · · Score: -1, Flamebait

I see that these people aren't really posting any useful information, it's just repetitious thoughts. Possibly a decent compilation of half the things mentioned here on slashdot?

Yes, it is infact true, however it's the reverse. Our computers will soon require such sophisticated cooling units that if one of our cooling units that has been harvested from the iced over vomit of a blood sucking community just so happens to get access to open air, we will all be instantaneously entered into an ice age. I've seen it happen...

Would the use of such a small piece of equipment actually be of use? Possibly by asians or those that are naturally nimble, but people like me with the sausage fingers and bulky hands, it's a nuisance (maybe we're not who they're oriented to?). It's like all those cell phones that need a toothpick to dial them... I'd use this for show and tell :/

I'm sure nobody forgot it... those who don't remember being punished are doomed to repeat it is more like it-- they received nothing negative from this experience, why would they hesitate from doing it again? There's an obvious lack of sense of community on the part of VeriSign. This company should seriously reconsider what they're doing, and realising that what matters is having a strong customer base, not making extra money because they annoyed the hell out of every internet user on Earth.

  12. Duh... on Online Search Engines Lift Cover Of Privacy · · Score: -1

If you have access to anything, you're going to use it to your advantage. It just so happens that people wanted to know certain information. Across the internet it can be prevented-- just don't tell people your name and whatnot. When people you know in real life start learning things you don't want them to know... there's only one thing to do... Kick their ass. It's not googles fault they're so damn awesome!

  15. Why use window managers? on Gnome's Nice Little GUI Perks · · Score: -1, Troll

Forget standardizing, how about we just scratch gnome all together and duplicate windows' gui. wouldn't everybody like that? Nice pretty graphics everywhere and and... I've always viewed linux as an operating system that should be used for hosting, not home use (unless development is a priority, then it's all dependant). If you're using it for hosting, you don't need a GUI, let alone a pretty one.

  16. Re:No, because... on Moving Net Control From ICANN to Governments? · · Score: 5, Insightful

In all reality, shouldn't beastiality be permitted? As long as no laws are violated in the hosting country, it should be legit. For example, if beastiality porn is hosted in Pakistan, and it's not considered illegal there, why should it be censored? Its global viewing is just a possibility, if the intent is to please the people of the local country? There are no UNIVERSAL laws, and that's the way it should be.

Good call, the internet is about freedom-- Fahrenheit 451-- awesome book to read, and that's what the world is coming to (in a less extreme level, of course). Censorship sucks, considering I own www.pleaseeat.us and i'm sure that the domain will get suspended sooner or later... goatse.cx had it happen to them.
