    Seasons one and two were great, but things rapidly started to go down hill after that. It became rapidly apparent that there was no overall plan (like Straczynski had with Babylon 5).

    Welcome to Everywhere. Name a large city where people in the nearby area don't refer to it as "the city". Chicago, New York, LA, San Diego, Seattle- they all do it. SF is nothing special in that regard.

    Sure SF is special. The bay area is ringed it large cities.

    Only the snobs in SF think they are "the city."

    I'm on the 1-at-a-time plan and I get 3 per week.

    Interesting how little time it takes viewing stuff without ads for it to become completely unacceptable.

    Even more so now that most commercials are scams trying to rip people off.

    I remember when commercials were entertaining and were trying to sell a real product.

    Umm...Shouldn't the police force be paying craigslist? Craigslist didn't create the prostitution. They stuck it all in one spot. The only way they could have helped the cops more is if they placed a big red arrow that says "hooker" over the prostitute's heads.

    That just makes too much sense.

    The DRM doesn't really bother me in this case.

    Sure it bothers you in this case. As you said, the quality isn't stellar. And you have no choice in clients due to the DRM.

    If Hollyweird would dump all this protection nonsense, you would have the option of open MP4 streams or downloading with any software of your choosing.

    Um, no they don't. My generation "needs" broadband. A lot of older people, especially the elderly, have no need or desire for the internet

    Except when they want to video conference with their grand children who live in another city.
