Lowering prices by raising others though is not necessarily "A Good Thing."
For a class I took here at RIT, we did a market research sort of study. Granted, it's somewhat biased and only represents a small portion of the market.
57% of students surveyed said that they would stop illegally downloading music if prices were $0.50 and below.
Students prefered the iTunes pay-per-song model, opposed to the subscription-based models.
Most of these students (83%) consider themselves to be computer literate and 81% of them download music on at least a weekly basis, legally or illegally.
I don't know if anyone cares about this info, but I figured it might be a little interesting food for thought.
Just to get you back on semantics, last time I checked, Canada is in America. North America, to be specific. So, RIAA technically can be Canada too. Next time, don't italicise the last A.
The main concern among torrent users is that videos/pictures/etc shouldnt be compressed in rars or zips etc because that doesnt allow the users to preview the download. That preview often times helps determine if it is a legit file or not.
Lots of users won't download compressed movies/pictures because the file cannot be verified before its completely downloaded.

Shes not always white. It depends on the girl. And you can have babies from dry humping. It'd be very very very very hard to but its possible. And his clothes are on, yes, but I think thats more a lack of wanting to draw a nude black guy model with a huge penis than anything.
Also, if you're going to get technical like that, then you might as well say he didnt get a blow job, cause he has clothes on. He got a girl to bob her head between his legs while she was nude.
farming points as in 1 guy is on the other team, he kills an enemy and then his friend res's the enemy. repeat endlessly for hundreds of points.
Moron.

But seriously, I dropped online speak from my vocabulary years ago. I get pissed when people say lol, wtf, atm, brb, etc. u is especially bad. Come on, you can type 60 wpm or so but you can't hit 2 extra letters? You suck at life. Internet shorthand sucks.
kthnx!
If you want to complain, you should complain about their port-blocking of 80 and 25. If you want to run a webserver it either must be on a non-standard port or HTTPS. I run mine on 90.
How about you read their terms of service. You are NOT allowed to run webservers, so what does it matter that they block those ports? If you are running a server, then you're violating their rules. On another note, to my knowledge, another reason they blocked those (besides the obvious) is due to viruses and worms that have built-in servers.
Ghosting on 12ms response time? I've never seen it happen on my LCD.
I don't understand this whole LCD's suck for gaming argument. It was valid maybe 2 years ago, but today? I don't think so. Unless you're buying some shitty budget LCD, in which case, thats your own fault for not spending money on a good product.
Cole: I see dead people...
Crowe: In your dreams?
Cole shakes his head
Crowe: While you're awake?
Cole nods
Crowe: Dead people like in graves and coffins?
Cole:...They don't know they're dead
Crowe: How often do you see them?
Cole: everytime I go to Europe, (pause) they're everywhere...
My weapon of choice is power archiver. It supports just about everything I would ever come across, for both compressing and uncompressing

Maybe a college campus would be the ideal location for one of these?
Yes, but Apple isn't a software company, as much as they are a hardware company.
Take iTunes/iPod for example.
Azureus has that functionality built in. There's a setting for prioritize first chunks (maybe its first/last, but memory says its first).

Well said. To be blunt, I think they should all be castrated, and then executed.
There is no such thing as a bad porn addiction.

I bet it'd be even funnier if they were both posted by the same editor.
Buy a business account. To my knowledge, they allow servers if you're a business client.
