When im training... I usually run about twice a week between 3 and 6 miles. Before I started track a couple of years ago.. I was running in my indoor soccer shoes. Anything above 2 miles was killer. Then my wise coach suggested a pair of distance shoes.

um.... your wrong about that... and alot of people dont understand this either.

all of our knowledge is based upon assumptions. For instance when it comes to the number systems... we have a set of assumtions that we say are true.. and there is no arguing about it. For instance in the binary system. We say the language only consists of 0 and 1. We say there are two operators and define there operations. AND/OR... we say 0 and 0 is 0.... we say 1 and 1 is one. There is NO PROOFING THIS... its a given. We can PROOF things like demorgans therom.

This applies to many many areas... geometry... algebra.. calc... logic... etc. There are a list of assumptions that are given to be true. You could argue that calc is just an extention of algebra and geometry... but thats another matter.

The question I think this article is asking ... is can we program this truths into a computer... give a program a problem... have it randomly(or not for the ai people) apply some theory.. and get an actual answer?

In my own personal opinion, I think this would work. I think if you took it far enough.. giving information about math... chemistry and physics and electronics.... I think it would be possible to have a computer design a better computer.

Really though I find that I tend to go back and forth from biking on the sidewalk to biking in the street depending on the amount of traffic/pedestrians. It helps if you bike fast also, not as much traffic coming from behind you. Also if you are really a safety freak... get a mirror and some shiny stuff on your bike. Personally I dont even wear a helmet.

If you really wanna get adventerous try biking one a single lane highway sometime. I even avoid that stuff. No shoulder... gravel spewing every time a car wizes by.... ugh. Not fun at all.

If you are with a group of people that can be a little different. Just move everyone to the middle of the road and take over. Perfectly legal, and actually safe to becuase you slow traffic down.
