Amazing isn't it? 20 million Dittoheads do have influence. They'll sit back and let some talking head tell them what to think then they'll vote accordingly.
It amazes me how many people still support the president after all we have been through in the last 3 years.:| All I've seen is warmongering and more warmongering as well as cutting taxes and raising borrowing.
What do we have to show for this warmongering? Israelis and Palestinians once more at each other's throats on a daily basis. Daily deaths of American servicemen and women in both Iraq and Afghanistan. What do we have to show for the lessening of taxes? Less money for the government to operate: no surplus (that was given back) and a hike in deficit spending like we haven't seen since Reagan.
Tax primer: The US Govt is like you and me. It gets paid a salary in the form of Taxes. Now when the Govt gets a pay reduction in the guise of "tax reform", the Govt merely starts using it's Credit Card - Deficit spending. After all, they have to get the money somewhere right?
The borrowing being done now is precisely the Republican Plan(tm). Why should the people with money take a chance on stocks when the govt provides them with a sure-fire no-risk investment in the form of Bonds (the govt tit)? Lack of investment in businesses translates into a lack of jobs.
Now raise taxes, pay off the debt and then you will have all that interest money to play with rather than throwing it away to the Bondholders. Say, invest some of it in putting folks thru college or research or infrastructure or GOD FORBID lower taxes for good!
GET OFF THE DEFICIT SPENDING ALREADY!
P.S. Looks like Arnold's idea of honest hardworking Californians is really big businesses. He's all about lowering taxes... where is he gonna get his funding I wonder?
As a final thought, It appears that many Republicans consider real honest hardworking americans (the kind who actually work for a living and make less than $100,000 a year) to be second-class citizens while businesses/corporations are first-class citizens and above reproach.
You forget that in the aftermath of the big battle and all, Saruman plays an important part. The story just doesn't end right if the final Saruman part is not played. (Trying not to spoil).
And yes, I want to see more of Liv Tyler. I can't help it.

Let's tell it like it really is ok?
While attentions are diverted from Microsoft, they are attempting to circumvent the letter of their agreement with the DOJ (such as it is). Once the dust of the present war ends, Microsoft will step in, with an untried codebase, and pick up where it left off. However, they will be fighting a battle hardened and litigation tested enemy.

I'll bet it is. I'll also wager, as well, that it is probably an infringement of securities law to use false statements to attract investors. Is an SEC investigation of SCO far behind the current litigation?
I nominate Troody because of it's advanced body and leg designs which in future will give robots better mobility. Troody is a dinosaur-like bipedal robot currently controlled by wire.

What does my post have to do with trademarks? Well, I'm not a lawyer; I suppose you are. Anyway, just that the terms are of ancient common use. The original post mentioned patents - which had more to do with my post.
This seems to be just an obvious way to upload, via WWW, all the data, program settings and customisations done to an old system; later downloading all data, program settings and customizations to the new computer. Finally, downloading updates and further customizing the new computer.
My opinion: This Patent will not stand. Explanation: The method is exactly what most people do when they get a new computer except for using the WWW part.

I mean think about it.... he knows which companies are going to be successful so he can be rich, he has advanced immune system so little or no sickness.
Heck, where did he get this Platinum Gold? How did he run out of Galactic Credits? (Are they legal tender in 2003?) Did he buy the Platinum Gold with the Galactic Credits? He wants the "unit" teleported to a "Secure" location that has been revealed via a non-secure channel? He promises to pay for the device if given information on how to pay; once again via a non-secure channel?
I think I saw a dimensional warp generator in a pawn shop in the south side of Ft. Worth, TX. It still has 2 months on the note. At least I *think* it was a DWG - it *could* have been an old RCA tube radio but you never know until you look at the serial number plate.
He better be careful... he might end up with the MIBs on his doorstep.
> unfortuantly there is no other player which > plays their media.
If Realplayer8 or MPlayer wont play it... then I don't need it.
Realplayer8 plays most of the Real content out there and I have had one movie in the last month that MPlayer had trouble with (and I got good video but no audio on that one).
I'll continue to use Realplayer8 for as long as I can - hopefully Real will go back to a simpler player with more functionality and less garbage to interfere with the user experience.
That or they are trying to pull a monkey out of their arse. I don't know exactly which.
GPL unenforceable? I can't think of a single reason why.
If SCO released a Linux Distribution or Kernel (along with the source code and a copy of the GPL) then that constitutes acceptance of the licensing agreement. Now let's just imagine for a minute that IBM had put some UNIX sourcecode into Linux. If SCO then released said code under GPL license then said code has now been GPL'd would it not be? After all, they had the sourcecode... it would have been there for them to see, to find, to object to?
Now that SCO has realized such a scenario, they are now turning their guns on the GPL in an attempt to have it invalidated? I think something like this was tried in the past with BSD was it not? As far as I remember, that attempt failed.
Furthermore, as in the BSD case previously with AT&T, I seem to remember reading that much of the original UNIX core code was derived from early efforts in open source by BSD folks. I figure that more BSD code (not less) has found it's way into the UNIX codebase since then AND probably alot of LINUX GPL code too. Wouldn't THAT be a surprising turnaround? With GPL code in the UNIX codebase then the UNIX codebase (or much of it) would then be GPL'd.
Methinks this is gonna be an interesting little war and a devastating defeat for SCO.

What does my post have to do with trademarks? Well, I'm not a lawyer; I suppose you are. Anyway, just that the terms are of ancient common use. The original post mentioned patents - which had more to do with my post.
PRIOR ART:
Greeks, Romans and many other classical/pre-renaissance cultures believed that there were only four elements: EARTH, WIND, FIRE and WATER.
So, these terms have been in common use for over 2500 years.
Just don't use the World Wide Web.
This seems to be just an obvious way to upload, via WWW, all the data, program settings and customisations done to an old system; later downloading all data, program settings and customizations to the new computer. Finally, downloading updates and further customizing the new computer.

In the "Other Universe" I have a quantum computer. Why not this one? In the other universe, Gore was elected and we all have high paying jobs.
Oh well. We can rest assured that our other selves are doing fine.
Right! Imagine this:
Jungle scene: Background battlefield noise, explosions, screams of pain;
