how about housing. I'm my area (Greater Vancouver) in the last 6 months houses that were selling 468-600K are up to 600-850K. In the last two weeks basically one in every third house in about 5 block radius around me has gone up for sale. This happened on a Sunday, we were just leaving for a hike when were like WTF? for sales signs everywhere. These houses aren't new these are later 60 and early 70's houses.
We were actually going to buy a house in my area (Renting atm and my rent is cheaper than most people mortgages) but now with the extra $150K+ per house no way am buying one and paying for it till I'm 90. So we looked at another city about 1.5 hours from us. I'd have to drive 30Min longer to my shop and the wife would have to get another job in that town but we can get a nice mid 90's built house for $280-340K and with 50K down have our mortgage would be $1300 per month instead of $2500+
It is just as stupid as a door lock on a door and then hiding the key under the flowerpot on the porch.
Actually as stupid as a store with gates on its windows and door glass but the front door lock has a twist handle on the inside. Break the glass and open the door...
I don't have an issues with the install or the APU or GPU working, just the issues I described in my og post. Also like stated with AMD drivers from about 3 months ago gaming has improved quite a bit with both FGLRX and Radeon drivers.
only issues I have is that for some reason once in a blue moon (every 3-4 months) some thing happens with either the system or FGLRX drivers and get a blank cursor on loading screen and x wont start. Have to totally purge remove FGLRX resintall xorg for it to work again. Install FGLRX once one and I'm good to got for an other 4 months.
Also should add this isn't Mint per say but running AMD A10 5800 the new AMD and Rageon drivers are MUCH smoother when playing Xonotic. Basically just as good or better than on my works Win7 machine with better graphics and CPU.
Its like Ford towing away your current car, putting in their own car in its place and then demanding money from you for the car they just put in stating that because its in your parking spot you own it and have to pay them for it.
Well the player base is Eurocentric which does suck but.... Also the game is quite playable with high ping. I use to cap quite often on the EAC Minsta server with 180 ping.
If you haven't played it you're missing out. Although Minsta-Hook is not my cup of tea, if you love flying around like Spiderman with a insta kill laser in your hand this is for you. Xon has Vehicles, Jet Packs and Overkill Mod too. My fav since its mine is my Shotgun only server Called Mofo with a Shogtun. With wall jumping and crazy pushback force from the bullets to make your enemies fly back fast and die while hitting a wall:) or just fly back off the map and of course die....
I would never have know and bought ATR, Et Static or The Prodigy new albums. Just don't have the time like I use to, to be in touch with "music". I went to YT, looked up old tracks and lo and behold there were new albums on the side panel. Whipped out the CC and bought them at where the artists wanted me to buy their album.
take down every video by the artists in the suit from YT. Just leave a video with a statement explaining that artists didn't want them anymore. Watch those same artists whine about the removal and fan revolt in 3,2,1...
Walking Dead got boring three seasons in and don't even enjoy watching it anymore. With Colony, The Expanse, Killjoys and many other sci-fi coming back in full force zombie drama is done.
out of a wet paper bag I prefer Drupal. Its a bit weird at first once you get past the taxonomies and needing to put in custom code into the template.php file to allow you to use different templates per node path yoursite.com/mypage yoursite.com/mypage2 you can build amazing sites. Best module to learn would be views as you can present your data in many ways just by clicking some buttons. Add in Ubercart for smaller Ecoomerce sites or Drupal Commerce for bigger ones and you're set.
