The Space Island Group is planning to build space stations with 1/3 the gravity of earth before the end of the decade. And civilians will be able to go there.
I doubt they would allow you to hook up your custom media to get it. They would probably be afraid that it might be possible to transmit viruses or do something malicious.
What an IDIOT! Not only are you wrong, but you have to plagarize other people's work. I would post a link to the story this guy ripped off but it just went down (it was posted about a week ago.)
I was just saying that it's a good thing there isn't fierce competition between the distros. And I'm not saying this type of thing is uncommon, just that this is another good example of a good thing.
This is what I love about open source, different companies (who are competitors in a sense) working together for the furtherment of the community. Although I would think that after all the lasest internet issues with M$ swiss cheese, the gov. would be looking at open src at least from a security standpoint.

I cant believe some freak idiot modded your post informative. AltiVec IS NOT MMX. MMX was some stupid extra instructions that resulted in some performance gains for some apps. AltiVec is an incredible advanced vector prossessing unit that doubles or even triples the chip speed.

By saying it is not as fast as ultra high speed SCSI, I am in no way saying it is slow. The Xserve provides plenty of speed and would not be considered as a "toy" anytime in the near future.
I know some will disagree with me on this but I just don't see the need for virus programs on the mac. I have used several different macs for the last 7 years (9 and X). I have never gotten any kind of virus, trojan, malicious attack, etc. OS X is just about the most secure operating system out there and if you have use the built-in firewall and don't open attachments from people you don't know, that's really all it takes. Besides, there is only like 1 virus that exists for OS X right now anyway.
In case you're interested, I made an mp3 of that song. http://homepage.mac.com/coolmacguy/dunemusic.mp3
Yeah, I liked the music too. I think I might get the soundtrack.
Well I will say this, it was definitely better than Taken.

Right but the original post was referring to Kazaa. There is Neo, but it is a pain in the ass and usually doesn't find what you are looking for.

Last time I checked, no Mac version of Kazza.
You might feel differently in eternity.
Macworld is still in New York this summer.

They have a dif campaign now. Switch. They ended Think Different months ago.
I haven't found an easy way to jump to the desktop.
Try Autohide. I love it.
What? You can't change MAC addresses. They are hardware values that are unique on each NIC.
I installed that but had no problem with the update.

Yes but it isn't comparable in any way to what MMX was.

Ditto with iCal.

Change the user agent to IE, it will work fine.
