If they were normal humans, they wouldn't become the CEOs of companies that would incur the wrath of people who would take the time to make custom designed pages just to curse them out.
Funny until it actually happens - that is...
I'm sure that's what they said about urinal ads too.
Though it would definitely be wrong if you had to watch an ad before being allowed to use the urinal.
What really annoys me about the box that pops up is that there is an "Always trust content from" box, but there is no "Never trust content from" box. It should work like the prompt for accepting cookies.
I read the article and I know what the program does. My point is that they did not commit a crime by creating a trojan that just modifies itself, according to UK law.
IANAL, but according to the Computer Misuse Act of 1990 a person is only guilty if they had the intention of modifying and knowledge to modify the contents of any computer
(a) to impair the operation of any computer;
(b) to prevent or hinder access to any program or data held in any computer; or
(c) to impair the operation of any such program or the reliability of any such data.
I think a better job would be to do onsite tech support. It doesn't require too much social interaction, it's centered around technology, and usually employers require some semblance of personal hygiene.
I used to work in a computer lab in college and they had us go through a seminar on providing exceptional customer service. This was definitely helpful in helping me deal with people. You also learn social skills when you have to interact daily with people who would save the only copy of their thesis to a floppy that eventually gets corrupted.
I tried looking for information on RedHat dropping their Linux desktop as an unviable product. All I found was that they are not supporting older distributions but are actually accelerating their development of Linux for the desktop of course that won't be a free distribution.
I'm guessing they didn't want to release the actual name of the program he used for fear that other people might start using it after they find it on Google.
I think a more accurate comparison is:
Are there more aerospace engineers who use OpenGL than game developers who use DirectX?

Maybe I just have no imagination.

If the technology is unextinguishable it must be magic.
Then it will be back to same old Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.

The only thing the program does is send a network message, it doesn't actually modify data on the computer other than itself.
4. ??? 5. Profit!
But Watson already said, "No shit Sherlock"
I could see artificial lips being used in the porn industry. I'll let you figure it out...
According to the article, it's 6 spammers, not 6% of spammers.

I like the idea of: "Video Games Make Kids Fat, Violent, Swedish," Experts Say.

Is it just me, or are more and more companies trying hard to find every single person/company and sue the crap out of them?
It's what I would do if I were a fertilizer company.
Died and was involved in some necrophelia and cannibalism.
Most cell phones that I've seen have pretty bright backlights on their LCD displays.

I think that's the evil bit.
