    I fail to see how eliminating the _word_ master/slave can stop slavery. It can't. War is worse than slavery, thousands of innocent civilians die from it, yet we haven't renamed wardriving.

    I agree. I had tried a variety of distro's, each had some type of problem. a few couldn't load graphics, so the GUI install was a big problem. Debian worked, and personally, I'm fine with it's current installer. Sure autodetection would be nice, but I find that doing it yourself is more rewarding, and it's not terribly difficult

    Neo has no real power. He is another control, made by the Oracle to change the matrix. She tells him that his choices are already made, and that he has to understand them, because he, and smith are just controls, another part of that system, another means for her to expoit and shutdown the matrix. So in the end, the Marovingian was right, choice is an illusion, 'given' from those with power.

    I dont know if there is something similar in linux, but Hotdog is a great web aware html editer with a built in browser, you can see what your doing, and code with menus and helps

    but doesnt this mean that nobody can make a security patch, cause you cant examine the product to see if there is a bug. If microsoft looks at it's own code for windows, and finds a hole( suprise!), then informs people, won't they get sued under the DMCA?
