Sure, well all know PHP is far from synonymous with security, but this seems to be a case of exploiting a web app using only the mechanics intentionally made available, just in a novel way. Seems like some unfounded (though not necessarily undeserved) PHP bashing.
I submitted this story earlier this week (news.com.au article) and it got rejected. But I'm not bitter, just glad iTunes is finally coming! Even if it is without Sony/BMG initially.
Yes sir! And let me apologise on behalf of some/. user with mod points who modded you down when you were really trying to do something good on behalf of the/. community.
Your statement "the creationist's minds are closed" seems pretty closed-minded to me... And in this day and age, creationists definitely feel like they get persecuted for their beliefs. That's the parallel I was drawing with Galileo (with an added hint of irony).

My thoughts exactly.
Get nicked.
Sure, I agree. I wasn't very clear that I was referring to the article submitter's comment "...despite the default PHP protections."

It's spelt and pronounced differently by our US brethren.
Does there exist a formal list of bugs that were actually fixed for vim? I've never been able to find one :S
Lars must be doing the rounds in Sydney. Just the other week he did this same presentation at Macquarie University. Rob Pike was there too.
"P.S. I finally found some GREAT books though. Accelerated C++ by Koenig and Moo"
;)
Ah! So that's what Moo is
Yeah, I used it back in March on the advice of my supervisor, who had obviously already been using it prior to me.
What about on my Mac though? I can't afford that emulation software...
"Speaking of Galileo, it was the church the suppressed him..." Which is precisely why I chose it as an example... *sigh*

Isn't this just promoting an open mind? All this talk about how creationism == loony bin reminds me of how poor Galileo must have felt.
No matter how well informed he was, it's not like he should have expected what happened (nor accepted it because 'it was in the EULA').
Yeah, it's just a small white dot moving along the sky. It isn't really worth watching.
Yeah! Although since I'm Australian I spell it that way normally (no excuses for "incoveniance" though :))
"We apologise for the inconveniance."
Does anyone know if there was any change from RC-3 to the final version?
Yeah I use Gentoo with Moz 1.7 and the acroread plugin now works well.
