There is an issue at the moment that GPS is the de-facto standard for both consumers and business, and there isn't really any competition out there. Should the GPS system fail or be temporarily "upgraded" so that "terrorists" suddenly think they're a mile away from where they really are I don't know of an alternative that The Rest of Us (TM) can use.
They were caught out: Their trademark was made public after the domain was registered, hence impossible to prove that it was registered with malicious intent. Tough luck, and I hope that this one fails.
Duh. They arn't testing how fast someone can install a firewall. They're testing how prone a typical user is to T3H H4X0RS - the same typical user will turn on and go which is why SP2 is a good thing (tm).
So the security issues don't bother you? Winamp 5 when installed without the video/library/flexiskin functions basically is Winamp 2, with similar memory usage to boot. Winamp has always been upfront with me about what files to link to it, too.
Perhaps then they should step up their renewal cycle, at least when indexing new pages into their database. With 20/20 hindsight it's an obvious problem.
We've been playing that recenty (under the alias Danish) interspersed with games of spoons, cheat and scabby queen. The people around me wouldn't have the patience for poker.
Spamcop and Spamhaus I agree with. SORBS demand payment for removal of clean servers (albeit not to them). That just doesn't chime when people spam through an isp's smtp server and get caught.
We are fortunate in America to have the best health care system in the world
While the quality of care may be superb, putting the entitlement of your citizen's in the hands of private for-profit companys seems rather a poor policy. After all, the best insurance policy is an unclaimed policy.
It's them trying to jump on the corporate responsibility bandwagon. Like tobacco firms sponsoring the creation of a new park: Totally unrelated but "kind" acts that can be seen right through.
Why not a neo nazi group, a christian group or a mormon group with a submarine horse drawn cart? Singling out any of the above shows equal understanding of how many groups have a chip against the US Government.
No no no, it's GMail. Even Apple would agree, gMail looks pants.

It isn't good on apple's part. Not at all.

*resists urge to mod -1 for showing off about access to secret societies* :-)
You don't get karma for being modded funny. RTFAQ
Dang.. that daily commute from India to fix Ms. Johnstone's phone line must be a bitch.
You lose! ;)

It is very possible for any client on the internet to retrieve the list of connected ips from the tracker. After all, it's just a fancy http server.
Perhaps then they should step up their renewal cycle, at least when indexing new pages into their database. With 20/20 hindsight it's an obvious problem.
They arn't claiming that their own figures are reflective of the rest of the internet, hence why they've published the report on the 10% aim.

Not all natural disasters destroy the power distribution network.

Modification can still occur, for personal use. Forking a video standard is asinine.

Yes, they are. Square gets $13 a month off each and every player in their universe.
Here's a non-broken-up and very clickable link to it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/056351043 9/
... but still not economically viable. The hours involved ($$$) in the port would still be wasted on a very small market portion.
I'm not sure about how much space FFXI needs, but a CF/microdrive slot would probably be able to cope.
Oh yes, an arab group.

Only on an OS with few supporting 3D games (ie: not windows) would one not notice the atrocity that is the GFFX 5200.
