    I think it actually takes it off the blacklist, basically whitelisting it, though not technically. This is how it seems to work, though I could be wrong.

    Sort of. See that button above an e-mail that says 'not spam'? Yes, that's the one. If a message appears in your spam box, click that button, and it will be moved from the spam box to the inbox and taken off the 'spam' list, effectively adding it to a whitelist.

    I know some voice actors, for example, use their natural voices for cartoon characters (Bugs Bunny, etc.). When you rapped, as MC Pee Pants (or Sir Loin) for ATHF, was that your natural voice? If not, can you post a clip of your real voice?

    When I had Bellsouth they sent me an e-mail saying I was abusing my unlimited hours. They advertise as unlimited, I pay unlimited. How can you abuse something that is unlimited?

    They never took any action though.

    I can't do anything about the quality, as I can only work with what I have. It has used quite a lot of bandwidth on my old web host already (over 6 gigs in 3 days, a lot considering I usually don't use that much in a year).

    If you can persuade them to produce a higher quality, then what you want might be possible.

    I once dated a girl who had synesthesia. She told me my voice had an almond color. Long story short, it didn't work out between us (her condition wasn't an issue with me, and I don't think she was self-conscious about it). I thought it was an interesting 'condition', she seemed to think of it as a gift.

    I would think that there is plenty of non-robotic evidence that monkeys use and make simple tools, are skilled and knowledgable in their use and pass tool knowledge from individual to individual already in the wild.

    As another poster implied, they don't want to block their affiliates. Of course, they could just set up their affiliates URIs to be an allowed referrer, but that would probably be too much trouble for them to keep track of who has their hands in what.

    Karma be damned....

    I have no sympathy for them. It's their fault their domain expired normally and someone else bought it up. That's why it's always best to renew at least a few days before the domain expires, or at least have payment information on-file so that a domain can be renewed automatically.

    Now, I do remember reading about a particular domain that was hijacked by another registrar/company in Australia. It was on Slashdot, but for the life of me I can't remember the URL.

    Moderation. If I don't feel something is on-topic, and especially if it's spam (of course if it's spam), I delete the comment. Sometimes I edit it for grammar and spelling. I have never censored a post for it being crude or lewd, though I've never had to (and probably never will). The point is: it is MY website and I will do with it what I want to. Even if it becomes a giant mammoth like Slashdot (never will).

    Most said 'boo' when they found out MS was releasing antispyware software, but said 'ok that's fine' when they found out MS didn't write it. Microsoft bought the rights to engineer and 'have' a specific piece of software and is therefore responsible for the contents.

    Personally I've found MS Antispyware to be completely unnecessary, and in fact may lead to more problems than it can fixed. Anyone remember reading in a previous article how it produces a lot of false positives, even going so far as to detect Spybot S&D protection as spyware? (And yes, I believe I tested this).

    We lived fine without MS Antispyware before, and we can live fine without it now.

    Point taken. I'm a little alarmed at the last snippet of the article:

    What is the "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" doing handling child pornography? This has got to be a job for the Special Victims Unit (tm).

    The U.S. and Canada are symbiotes both economically and security-wise. More integration is better for everyone. I think a really good idea is Canada becoming a commonwealth of the U.S., like Puerto Rico.

    TV is offered free of charge to start with (with the exception of commericial-free stations).
    I'll remember that everytime I pay my Adelphia bill for Expanded Basic (roughly 60 analog stations).
