I say watch a good movie like office space and learn the important values of screwing the boss over for his lack of compassion for his employess. I know from experience that bosses can sometimes half witted and tend not to tell you in the last minute what's going especially with major projects that are due in 3 days notice.

  9. Ok that's silly rule on Wisconsin Governor Proposing Tax On Downloads · · Score: 1

Ok this has to be the most dumbest law to ever come out of the cheese state. For one thing that I see the problem would be who would pay the tax that ISP or the user? The second this that I see its not seen as a fair use item in any fee on the net. I also see that the law is too broad and has too much of broad topic with possibilities of violating fair business practice causing a drop in the economy. All I can say is Dumbass.

  10. Re:Disney should follow Japan on Disney to Make Toy Story 3 Without Pixar · · Score: 1

Maybe you should look at Gonzo animation, or IG Gainax productions(The Guys who did the Kill Bill Animation).

  11. Disney should follow Japan on Disney to Make Toy Story 3 Without Pixar · · Score: 1

I think its more of a quality issue right now with Disney and that its managment is being ethnocentric to the idea od having the Japanease go into their market with animation. The animation in japan is far superior in quality and in story with many things that have been tabooed by western culture. If disney wants to stay in the game they need to hire people from Japan and in korea who are excellent in making a movie in a very tight timeline with little or no pay. They produce some of the finist works in both visual and audio representations. If disney loses pixar it can spell the end of the american animation domaninance that we seen for the past 70 years.

  21. Apple II Days (Back in the Day). on RIAA Threatens 15-Year-Old · · Score: 1

When I was a young lad in the 3rd grade I started my first fix in copying games and programs from the classes Apple IIe which has gotten me through tough times from the local bullies at school. Anyhow when I was finally caught by one the teachers she asked why are you copying these programs, and my reply was "Well I don't see a sign for not copying them."(in Punk type manner). The teacher did nothing about and I was on my merry way. A few years later I was playing Quake on the school network making the game availible for people to play. Well I was caught and I was sent to the pricipals office. He would later ask why did I abuse school property My answer "Well first off you have no set rules on piracy on the network, second It was used only for play and enjoyment not for making profit. He would later buy since he had no rules made up yet to suspend me. The story that is to be learned is that kids are smart and will always find a way that the law favors us to get away with things even if its the RIAA or those fat cats in the MPAA.

  24. MIT conspiracy on MIT's Music Net Shut Down Over License Issues · · Score: 1, Troll

First of all the MIT system uses some of the systems of HAVARDNET which is a subsiderary of Microsoft. A lot of has to be due to big business relation to this and they are worry that the RIAA is going to sue them and MIT for copywright violation. So its from Coporate sponsership that this resulted in this shutdown of the cable service.
