No I'm not. I said that if you want to call it a form of discrimination than at least call it the correct closest form, which is not racism.

I would love a service like this for US Colleges. Currently I have to go through various problems with postcards and other bull trying to get grades sooner then a month after the semester ends. Though currently there are some online grade services but not many teachers use them so maybe I should be complaining about the lazy luddite professors.

Err...that is not racism. Granted racism may also be present along with anger about outsourced jobs they do not really go hand in hand. Even if you wanted to associate some sort of prejudice with anger over outsourcing (which you do seem to want) then it would be a form a nationalistic discrimination. Really all it comes down to is looking out for your own interests.

Using faster than light travel (not necessarily traveling faster than c but rather a form of travel which gets you from point A to point B faster than light would travel the distance) and a powerfull enough imaging device you could actually do it. By computing the correct distance and magnificaiton the device would need to be located to zero in on the correct time and then getting your viewer there before the light which started out at the period you wish to view (you would of course also need to find a clear path from Earth to your point with no gravity or objects in the way). Or the much easier example, if we discover distantly located alien life. We could one day show them pictures of their own past, maybe even clear up a few things for thier historians. (Now don't laugh this is all technically possible.)

  11. They Lack Soul on Microsoft's Real Plan For XNA Gaming Domination? · · Score: 2

I'm serious about this, Microsfot lacks soul. I'd say that Nintendo has the most in the gaming industry, though in recent years they seem to be holding more and more to post successes instead of creating new things which as long as they do it well is not a problem in my book. Even Sony has more soul than MS, there is more heart in their products. One of my favorite games is Halo so don't get me wrong, I do believe MS can turn out good games. I really do doubt however that they will every really dominate in the field.

No dude. Sorry but these are not overly expensive in the States, even years ago you could get one for a few hundreed or alternatively get an addon for any normal bike for about the same price. You may be able to find horribly expensive ones with a nasty markup for yuppies but it is not the general condition of the market for these bikes in America.

When I first came across this technology years ago I wondered why it didn't seem to very popular. I soon realized that here in America nobody would ride one of these because of the social implications. Your either such a lazy fat bastard that you need a motor on your bike or your too weak and pathetic to just ride a normal bike or your a broke looser who can't afford a motorcycle or car. Who is gonna ride even a good electric bike (which even now there are few of) with these sort of implications attached.
