I hope you will rethink your attitude for using google as a diagnosis tool. In almost 100% of cases PPCM is misdiagnosed but put the same symptoms in google and you will get the correct diagnosis. What is ten seconds of your time vs the cost of someone's life? I hate Doctors they are so arrogant , you and your response are a prime example.

I worked for an IT department that suspended 3 guys for a week because they has set up a local lan and during lunch would play a multi-player game. They only played during their lunch hour and their previous manager used to play with them. When new management takes over you have to be really careful. Many times they are just looking for someone to make an example of. Our internet access was completely restricted and all department heads were given a print out each month. They also put Gps on the work vans so everywhere the van went and stopped was tracked. I was never so happy as the day I quit! :)

  8. Re:How is entry-level situation for other ppl? on Writing a Good Technical Resume? · · Score: 1

Volunteer as much as you can, offer your programming skills to local agencies, churches etc. Volunteer fixing up computers or doing tech support for local non profits. Also, you have to really want a job before you will be offered one, the last place I worked would get hundreds of resumes for any opening.

  10. Asst Principal's responsibiltiy on School Official Sues Over MySpace Page · · Score: 1

Where is the Asst Principal's responsibility in this for being so hated that the kids would lash out this way. She is the adult with alot of power over these kids daily lives. While not condoning what these kids did , why is no one looking into her actions that have caused such a response. It is always blame the teenagers, blame the parents as a knee jerk reaction. The ass't principal is being paid by these very same parents tax dollars. She obviously is having problems handling her job.

  12. technology rules on Household Technology Rules for Kids? · · Score: 1

I am the odd /. demographic and the one with extensive experience in this area. The only rule I would institute is a time limit of so many hours per day. Other than that they can use the computer however they see fit, the catch of course being that they know up front that I am a computer professional and when I sit down and use the computer I will know everything they have done. I am not spying on them but they will leave a trail that I can easily follow. This teaches them an important lesson about computer use, it is not anonymous and what you do ie: emails, myspace, net postings you can be held accountable for. Setting up alot of rules and restrictions only makes the child feel like they are missing out on something and work harder to view it. Think reverse psychology here. Congratulations on your pending fatherhood! From the minute the children are given into your care your life will never be the same! For all you know you could be adopting the Phil Zimmerman of the future!
