  1. Well... on Utah Leads the Way Toward RFID Privacy Legislation · · Score: 3, Interesting

We've already seen Budweiser push for all the info they can get without these tags... I'm sure RFID is soon to follow.

At least they won't be able to invade your spending habits this way, and I'm sure legislation will come to dissallow their current manner of tracking if it deeply affects consumer rights.

Technology like this is beginning to infringe on our privacy though... I wouldn't want everyone to know I bought four pairs of handcuffs and a lether whip around my girlfriend's birth... I mean candy and flowers... yeah

Or how about until their source itself is known publicly. to my knowledge several bugs were found by meerly looking at the source and if the patches show the vournerabilities of MS, then the source obviously shows the root of every problem.

I do enjoy how they state something that can never be proven correct on top of the fact that there are already a few known exploits to the source stolen a while back

I think it's quite obvious you missed the point of this article entirely. It refers to the nifty new features that KDE has to offer over all of the competition and it's giving you the reasons to run KDE over Gnome. I know it's tough reading all of those big words, but every now and then you should try it out.
