Why can't we all be less cynical and just look at the real issue. Its wonderful that science can enable the paralysed to walk again, but Are we playing god. I dont think so personally. I think there are much worse things in the world that we are prepared to do, so how can we be against this without changing everything. Isnt it true that there is so much medical science today that is ethically questionable?
Patrick if you're listening. I use Slackware for everything - it has the hallmarks of an OS that is for humans (people) as opposed to drones. It has that human touch. Thats a legacy you can be proud off if all on its own. Just the simple fact that every time I open up a terminal, there is a quirky quote of some kind which can be humerous to outrageous to serious but always interesting. Get well soon..

Thats what occurred to me at any rate. I guess these are people that avoided computers generally but like to have portable music (they probably just see the i-pod as the in thing) They might associate the MAC also as the in thing and want one - if they are prepared to fork out the $$$ for one.
