To whoever handles their marketing, if you're reading this...the sole reason why I will NEVER buy this game and will discourage my friends from getting it is because it has been overhyped and you've attempted to shove it down our throats. Gamers will always reject this kind of marketing crap, and if a game is worthwhile, we will find out about it. The same is VERY true of the opposite. If this movie-based game sucks (and from what I've heard and seen it does) then gamers will also find out about it no matter how many story submissions you get posted on Slashdot.

That's the studio's goal; and it's mine, too. We're not doing Gandhi, here. It doesn't need to be ponderous. It needs NOT to be. It needs to be so good that people pack the theaters - as many showings as possible . That way I have a chance of getting other movies made, too. The last thing I need is for people to say, "Ender's Game - the movie that's even slower and longer than Heaven's Gate!""

He is going to do whatever it takes to keep theaters packed...and that will in and of itself render it a crap movie. Something tells me the creators of Firefly didn't see that as their goal....they saw their goal as being true to their story.

However, for some reason my original point about integrity somewhat reminded me of the situation with the Daily Show...they claim they are NOT a news station, and people should take their reporting with several grains of salt...yet they also have a large percentage of viewers who take their word as truth, disclaimer or not. While they certainly do not "owe" it to their audience to maintain journalistic integrity the way CNN does...I'm sure they realize that a lot of their viewers look to them for the truth of a matter since the viewers place more trust in them than in traditional media news outlets.

I understand these may be fairly in depth questions so please do not feel obligated to answer...

First off...how easy and expensive is it roughly to get into the business and start developing a decently profitable site when you purchase/lease your content from the original producers? Also, how do you go about purchasing this content?

Next off...would you be able to share any numbers in terms of profits/revenue/salaries/bandwidth costs/software costs/content costs? I hear everybody talk about how profitable this industry is, but I've never seen any numbers behind this. I recognize and respect that you have a vested interest in not divulging this information, but anything you could share would be appreciated.

Lastly...as someone who's off and on considered starting a porn site (because lets face it, what guy DIDN'T think he had great ideas for one...), can you recommend any resources on the topic? Also, are there any free online industry journals/publications on the business side of things? Additionally, in terms of effort vs reward, where would you say creating your own site fits in when you purchase your content and rebrand rather than produce original work?

Again, thank you for answering my previous question, and any light you can shed on these additional ones would be most appreciated.

It is a comfortable ergonomic device that requires you to spend zero energy when you are not moving it (as opposed to holding your gesture based device still in the air) and requires minimal movement that it can then amplify, expending a minimum of energy for the desired result.

Now, interestingly enough I have a wireless "air-mouse" that I use when I'm in bed and don't want to reach over. You basically hold a button on it when you want it to pick up your cursor movements, but this can get quite confusing because depending on where you leave off, your hand/arm is in a different position, so you will never be as precise with it as you would a traditional mouse.
