There is a program called X1 that does the same thing. It's been out for a long time and works with Mozilla Mail and just about everything else on my HD.
What's next? The Google operating system? Are we looking at the beginnings of a next-generation Microsoft-like empire?
Yes, and then as you get older all the youngins will hate Google, and love some NEW company and you'll have to explain to them that Google used to be good, and Microsoft Bad, but Microsoft used to be Good and IBM bad but now IBM is good and maybe by then Microsoft will be good. Then there's the whole SCO/Caldera/SCO thing.
In the real Gold Rush the people sold the shovels ended up with more gold then the people digging for it. In the IP gold rush the lawyers are going to get more gold then the people who go digging for Intellectual Property.
You would think that a company like SCO that has promised almost every last penny to it's own lawyers would remember that bit of history before making comparisons.
With this they probably could make a vaccine or genetically engineer a "virus" that could prevent AIDS*The disorder caused by the HIV virus*
I think that the existance of this mutation has been known for some time. The key is that it was only thought to exist in the caucasian population until now.
Oh that makes sense. No sense developing a vaccine if caucasians are already immune.
$100,000 isn't that much compared to most prizes they have. I'm sure plenty of people here would jump through whatever hoops they setup for a chance to get into space.
Give him a break. Sure they were posted less then 24 hours after each other with no other stories between but look at the headlines...

Anit-Matter explosions will look like just like the existing nuclear ones, but now with a big rolling circle spreading out like a Future Crew Demo or Death Star Explosion.
This (more hurricanes) comes as a surprise to anyone? The atmosphere is a heat engine. You put more heat energy in, you get more wind energy out. It's as simple as that. Of course you're going to get more high wind events. In the Carribean, you call those Hurricanes.
What's bemusing to a European eye is that it seems to be the places which are most likely to be devastated by global warming that are most likely to vote for Bush.
Just because Bush is full of Hot Air doesn't mean you can blame the hurricanes on him.
Why not have a bar-code on every dollar bill that can validate each bill. If a serial comes up in the same place more than once, then it is fake and disabled. This would be a global database, but not unrealistic.
I do this already. I always make sure to check every bill I get has been properly updated in the database. You wouldn't believe how many people out there are trying to use unregistered money. I mean really would you take just any old dollar? Who knows where it's been.
Once this takes off maybe we can expand it to $5 and $10 bills. The US Gov really is going at this wrong. They need to start small and prove the system works with the poor before bothering wealthy people who carry $50 bills.
The only difference between pros and amateurs is the amount of time they spend on something and the price of their tools. Telescopes are becoming commodities just like computers. The internet allows people to collaborate and check out the same object and keep up to date on the latest developments.
It doesn't matter much if your being paid, it's how much time and work you put into what your doing and how much it costs to have the proper tools to help you out.
Astronomy and Programming now have very low barriers to entry and are easy to collaborate. It just broadeds the base of those fields. To get the the top you still need super computers or things like the Keck Observatory that are very hard to come by - for now.
Conservitive/overly religious thinking should be the LEFT. It isn't helping matters when people who don't consider others might not want to live by their rules read that they are RIGHT all the time.

It also works with a lot more file types.

That sounds good and all, but your forgetting the most important thing about being a Lawyer.

The software works great, but dupes, typos and bias are plaguing the system.

I can't wait to see all the support websites.
"Cut my finger slicing tomoatoes, can't access my Thinkpad, HELP!!"
If you go to Customize, you can add your own Slashdot tab.
But it doesn't work! A simple search for "Grits" or
"Linux" return 0 results.

Not mention in Technology
Not mention in Law
CNN/Money has the story
Bush declared January 19th as National Sanctity of Life Day. On that day no one, not even Bush should execute people.
Hopefully nothing. It's a simple law, don't smoke pot. If you do and get caught don't belly ache.
There's a million other things you could be doing with your time and money. Some of them even productive.
I thought the candidates submitted the questions and we only get to decide who asks them.
