    Man, where do you guys get these stories? As a Canadian, I and most other non-elite persons, are very happy with the medical service here. I was diagnosed with kidney disease a while back, so I'm not looking from the outside in, I have first hand experience. They found a problem with a routine blood test, and within a month I saw a specialist, had a biopsy and was diagnosed, and continue to be treated.

    You want to see a doctor, there are many options from walk-in clinics, family doctor, or emergency room - neither will have a wait of more than a few hours. The emergency room might take a little longer if your problem is less severe than the guy coming in with his fingers in a bag or something.

    Also, taxes are not that different in Canada than they are in the US

    They would have dated the rocks these fossils were found in. C-14 dating is only good for relatively recent dating (up to ~60000 yrs). They probably used K-Ar or U-Pb dating, although there are a few more options.

    It hasn't been awarded yet, and the judge gets the final say on the amount. Plus, I believe, some of the patents have been invalidated since the trial.

    Nuclear radiation IS electromagnetic radiation.

    That's what photons ARE, packets of electromagnetic impulses.

    Gamma rays just happen to have higher frequencies than microwaves or radio waves, but fundamentally they are both light.

    To be pedantic, actually nuclear radiation comes in three types: gamma, alpha, and beta radiation. Only gamma radiation is EM, the others are particle decays.

    That might be true, but in this case these temperatures are not found on Earth, so none of us have anything to really compare it to.

    I think all smartphones (definitely Android phones) display an "emergency call" button on the lock screen.

    I've has a couple of android phones, and neither have had that.

    Really? If the same side of the Earth always faces the sun, does that not mean that the day never ends? Whereas the year is still the time the Earth takes to complete one orbit?

    Depends on your definition of day - his refers to one rotation about the Earth's axis, which is not realated to the length of the day-night cycle. See Day for the various definitions.

    Take them all down, plus any link relating to the studio, all studio movies, show times, or anything similar.

    Make the bastards pay for promotion like they did in the days of newspaper advertising. Charge them 10 million dollars per movie studio, 1 million per movie, and 100k per site to get back into Google's index.

    Make sure to include all the listings from shopping sites like Amazon, Ebay etc as well, because they are obviously pointing to the same items.

    I looked up the ScanEagle and found it's from Insitu. The company I work for used to operate the civilian version of the the same drone, and I'm really suprised they would not be missing any, as we used to lose them on a regular basis. They are autonomous drones with no operator required - they are simply pre-programmed with a flight path.
