I recently purchased an ATI Sapphire X1500 AGP for $149.99, and am *VERY* satisified. HDR lighting, 4x antialias on everything I play, best money I've spent - besides upgrading to over 1GB of memory.
I don't know why Sony keeps getting such a hard rap. I haven't seen any of the other game makers providing innovations like being able to download old games.
Nin-ten-do, they're developing this console called the Wii....perhaps you've heard of it?
He means visual studio.net, not the.net framework. I must say, I *like* visual studio enough to deal with it in a vm as opposed to switching to something less familiar.
I think such AI would best serve in more *true* coop games, instead of "Me against the world" FPS's. Me, my headset, and 2-3 friends, versus a truely badass AI.
A group of humans versus an army would have a ghost of a chance...But not before hilarity ensues.
www.handango.com (I assume it's everywhere, Tulsa gets a lot of things dead last) Buy movie tickets online, pick them up at a machine inside the store.
I love steak, but I dislike it being rare because I eat it quite often, and would hate to contract an illness. If *I* ever found out I was purposely given a bad steak that I paid for, because the chef is a self-righteous ripoff - forget going out of business: someone is getting their teeth knocked in.
I'm sure I'm not the only one. You just don't fuck with my food.
I picked up 4 Hyper for PC, and *really* hooked my wife into being a gamer with it. The standard gameplay is downright simple, but the overall map/strategy can promote alot. Plus being able to "level" characters creates a little competition. Nothing quite like screaming together while being trampled by Meng Huo and his damn elephants again, and again...
That most games are *easier* to pirate than buy legit. The *valid* reasons are actually pretty extensive. I've played demos. Liked them. Then I bought them only to find that it doesn't work on my computer, and there is no patch. (Gawd-dammit EA! I hate you fuckers!) To make matters worse, I can't return it (Even WAL-MART fears I might be a pirate, aaargh!) An AMD XP 2500+ with 512MB and an ATI 9600XT isn't a flame thrower, but it should run everything to some degree.
Also, I have kids. Young kids. And any gamer-parent knows that the first rule is to hide your CDs. I keep my originals SAFE. I MUST copy them onto the harddrive and use an image, or copy the disc. One minute alone with my computer is all it takes...
Requiring the CD also introduces unnecessary wear. DVDs are exponentially more vulnerable. I bought MGS2:Substance on DVD for PC, and the installer won't run due to a CRC error, le cry! I should be able to send my CD back for another - I can't exchange w/o the packaging - 3 years later.
To copy the original that I got from a store, I need a daemon tools and alcohol, so protections that require I not own those programs piss me off - at least put it on the damn box - It's my money and I deserve to know.
*or*
I could fire up bittorrent, download, install/patch, visit gamecopyworld, and start playing without having to go to the store, get bilked, figure out how to *keep* my game, and *then* play crappy FPS XXI (barring hardware issues and lack of patches.)
Shit, I've had freaking pop-cap games not work! Diner-Dash, crashes randomly - even after reinstalling windows. (Only thing left is to install new/more memory, and maybe a mobo replacement...) "Tech Support" doesn't exist, I get the middle finger for my $50....No wonder consoles are "winning."
In an effort to prove that they're bigger than MS: Intel and eBay make a deal that delays the bids of all ebay users who aren't using the newest pentium processors.
In other news...AMD whips the snot out of Intel in yet another Tom's Hardware shootout.
And lo-and-behold the ESRB warns of "Blood, Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol, and Violence"/T for Teen... so I guess my 15 month old won't be playing - but she clearly has more sense than their 13yo child: she's terrified of heights.
I work for one of sprint's tech support vendors - and I must say this is a typical move. The purpose isn't to compete with iTunes directly, it's to generate cash. Sprint's "clientele" would have no qualms with spending for the phones and the music. (Remember, this is the only major network where you can get in with a $150 deposit if you have bad credit - think about that one.)
What's sad, if you find problems with the service, tech support will likely not be able to help you. (They haven't told us about it YET. I found out more from slashdot than my own managers.)
...Sticks with MSRP when it comes to console pricing. If they could push $99 consoles and still make a profit, believe me, they would.
The revolution, by design, is going to have more games more often, for less. My problem with the GC was the complete lack of 3rd party titles. But if I *have* to participate in this generation, my dollar is on nintendo.

Vista has physics??? *duck*

...amen!
...noted. Thanks!

Hence my suprise! However brief.
"Get Laid, Get Paid"???
Really had my attention for a sec...
lol, that's right! (I've been working at Sprint too long.)

I don't recall *paying* the pirates, yet they offer better support/service than the game maker?

...that Ocarana of Time is already on the list.
For $200, and my barely gamer wife, and soon to be 2yr old kid, it's not even a choice!
1. Revolution Wins
2. Revolution Wins Big

Or maybe even FINISH kotor 2
