I would bay $70 a bulb if they made these for indoor use as a replacement for the regular light bulb. They could probably run it at 10 watts. And they would last 10-20 years depending on use. Think of the savings on your power bill!

I am personally for this. Any new taxes, in my view, are bad taxes. 25% of my wages already disappear in taxes/Social Security. I haven't taken the time to figure out how much I am paying out in sales tax and other taxes. If I took the time I would probably just shoot myself in the face and call it a day. I wouldn't care if they were trying to create a new tax to fund The fact of the matter is the Government already takes too much of my money as it is. They don't need any more. They need to spend what they have responsibly.
I (unfortunately) live in Utah and I have been writing Hatch about this for the past year. every time I write a letter to him all I get in response is some generic auto-response letter. I'm not talking about email I'm talking about an actual letter sent to me by snail-mail. In addition, this letter usually arrives two to three months after I sent the original letter.
It goes on to say something about how he is working with 'The Leaders in the Computer Industry' to 'Single Out a Few Bad Apples' or something to that effect. I have lost all faith in writing to him or any public official higher up than the Mayor.
What's the use when his votes come from the Disney addicted Mormons who would love to be able to censor content and eat up commercials like they are gospel.
This will pass.
I think that you and me are the only two people in the world who have played this game. I love it but whenever I ask people if they have played it they look at me like I'm some sort of deranged psychopath.
Another funny game that doesn't appear to be mentioned is Conker's Bad Fur Day! That game is funny every time I play it.
Favorite part of game: The evil little girl attached to the gigantic Tedi. (Spoof of the exorcist)
Since this seems to be the only Halloween story on/. today I will post anyway.
I live in Utah and, mostly because of the sever religious influence here we actually celebrated Halloween yesterday. Does this happen in other states as well or is Utah the odd man out on this?
This particular case is definately squatting but it raises the question "Can you buy domain names and use them for purposes other than what the domain name may lead most people to believe the content is?". I have several domain names that I have purchased for one reason or another and ended up using them for subjects that have nothing to do with the domain name. Is the only way to solve this issue through a judge? Do we let them determine intent? I personally don't like that idea.
Why did this jerk (and so many others) pull this crap? All it does is hurt the rest of us.
This is just wrong. But I can't really think of a fair way of going about fixing the problem. Do you force people to give up their domain names because they are misleading? Tough to say.
I maintain a number of my family's computers. My Dad was always getting all kinds of crap on it. So much so I would have to wipe and reinstall his system on a monthly basis. After the last round with viruses and trojans I finally got fed up and installed Linux on his system. It took a little education but, for the most part, the differences are minimal enough he hasn't had any issues using it to browse the web, check his mail and play the games that he likes.
So for those out there who have contemplated moving thier family to Linux just to avoid the weekly cleaning chore on thier system, I say do it. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
...However, he mentions that due to piracy concerns the profits are being eaten up and there might not be a market for the films at that time...
Right, the only reason there won't be a market is because everyone will be so disappointed with Episode III: Revenge of Jar Jar, that they would rather peel off thier own cuticles than see any more Star Wars movies.
Agreed, I'm currently developing an RPG in Java (It's for school). I am doing it on an old IBM thinkpad 600e. It does have some slowness but nothing killing playability. On more modern systems the game FLIES!. I am in no way a pro Java developer so I know my code could be optimized quite a bit. Anyway my point is that I find Java can do anything that C/C++ can do and I have a very easy API to work with.
Unfortunatly (For eBay anyway) email is an integral part of thier system. They communicate solely with thier members via email for everything from support issues to general announcements. Yes you can get the information from the ebay page but many (And I mean MANY) users would find that too difficult and stop using eBay altogether.
The only option is to do as much education as possible.
$35,000 a year??? For tech support?!?!?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
That has to be the funniest damn thing I have heard all day.
Honestly they don't pay more than $10 an hour around here.

Will probably be the biggest one in our lifetimes. Remember to vote and remember to vote for the best candidate not the lesser of two evils.
Go Badnarik!!!!

Should have been "In Soviet CHINA the Internet bar shuts YOU down!" (Wouldn't have been modded offtopic that way)
Not to mention 'loose' for 'lose'.
No thank you for being a complete retard with nothing to contribute.

Jerk! I'm at work! You trying to get me fired?!?!
Anyone have a mirror?
There is NO FRIGGIN WAY this is going to stand. The RIAA and MPAA will see to that. $$$

Just a guess but do/did you work for eMachines?
...that's all us tech folk need is for the users to be EVEN MORE RETARDED! More abstraction is not necessarily a good thing.
Agreed, I am exited for this because now I can have a consistent suite of applications between OSes (when it's a little farther along anyway).
I wonder what the legal ramifications would be if we all started filing these kind of lawsuits in protest of how stupid they are.
