For those of you bold enough to leave the computer screen for a while, there probably is a local CD store near you where you can buy the whole set of beethoven symphonies.
Well, that is of course a matter of opinion. I for once, like the sonatas more than the symphonies. By the way, you should also listen to the Beethoven piano concertos, they are very good.
Well, the Moonlight Sonata _is_ the Piano Sonata No.14. Of which the first part is very well known and therefore also performed too often by people that actually are not able to play it.

Yeah, but to collect this solar energy you have to build space-based systems, and they are very pricy to build. Fusion on earth, on the other hand, can be done at the surface and produces much more power/area than solar panels in space.

Why do you think that the journey to Mars has to happen with one rocket? I could imagine that there is one craft which supports human live and is able to land on the surface of Mars. Another craft then, is also going to Mars and when it arrives, the astronauts can attach that to their capsule and are able to launch from Mars again.

The student refused to hand in three assignments to the service, received a zero on those assignments, then fought the ruling. The story doesn't have many specifics, such as the venue of the fight (court or some internal university tribunal), but it is an interesting case. As a recent graduate of the social sciences, I find that practice appalling. The student is right to refuse, as he gets no compensation from the service for making money off his original work (assuming it was original!!). Although I don't like the idea, and I'm glad I never went through it, I suppose its analogue would be mandatory drug tests in sports."
Well, I installed the latest Java Runtime Environment from Sun and downloaded the Java3D, but still it runs sloooooooowly. And it uses over 400 Megabytes of RAM. I am not sure if it is supposed to be that much!
So I guess this ability isn't so new as you thought it was. I guess the US is a couple of years behind in this case. I wonder if there was a topic, a few years ago, about this when they introduced in the Netherlands...
I think everyone could have figured out that once Moore's law won't work anymore. I wonder how long the Intel researchers worked to figure that out. Maybe that's why their processors are expensive...

In other news, people are selling massively 8086-based PC's containing enormous 5.25" disks (imagine how much GB of data can fit on this) for only $2.

If you want to get rid of all free websites, use an ad-blocker. The money sites get from ads, is usually used to keep those sites free of charge.
