SO why doesn't he write a downloadable client that can map the Internet. It will then be possible to let a computer map a specific ip-range close to its location. That will be faster than doing it from one location.
Well, NASA planned to create a Mars-Internet. I am not sure if the project will be continued, because of some problems with some probes NASA sent to Mars. Anyway, you can find some information here:

I think Microsoft will probably win this case. They have enough money and spamming is illegal use of e-mail. Hopefully, that will scare other spammers away.
And yet.... tada... another story about SCO. It seems this SCO is the most important thing in the world! Everyday there are a few SCO posts. I think I am becoming immune to SCO stories.
I think this is a good idea. It never hurts to show pupils what possibilities there are in operating systems. Otherwise they will say: 'Linux, what's that?'
"Slashdot has covered TMDC before"... And they still are not able to handle the slashdot-effect...
Yeah, so why hasn't he got any volunteers then? It seems that he is alone and the download link on his website doesn't work.

Well, if someone wants to download the complete Internet, he might need a map in case he forgets a small part.

Are you sure there is nothing wrong with your CopyPaste-skills?
This comment made me laugh!
I guess the fact that the newspost speaks about Beowulf clusters, was only put there to make all those beowulf cluster jokes on topic!
I am sorry but 3 x 10**8 m/s is correct. So your result is actually very good!
I haven't read this slashdot for about two and a half months, and what do I see when I get back? Again SCO stories. Will it ever stop?
What about that judge that i read about on Slashdot. Is he overruled now? It was only a few days ago. Couldn't he have waited for this vote?
backslashdot.org seems to have a search engine powered by verisign... weird...
Maybe SCO is trying to sue the Internet?
"The connection was refused when attempting to visit goatse.cx"

I'd probrably be sued by them if I do that!

Damn, couldn't find a way to make a funny SCO joke on this subject ...

SCO will probably claim that parts of this new changed EULA were writtem by them.
Sorry but your links return the message : Document contains no data.
...Drop Open Source Bill Is this 'Bill' some kind of opensource bomb???
seems to me like they don't think to sell a lot of PowerMacs, only 970. This isn't profitable anymore.
Boeing has to come with something new. This year will probably be the first year that Airbus will sell more planes than Boeing.
