Finally, unlimited mail. I can't wait for that day in the future when technology will finally permit us to run mail clients off our local systems.
Gotta wonder, though. Does the average user think Yahoo and Hotmail are "real" and your own client running locally "bad" because you can't access it unless it's running.
I've got mail going back decades which are fun to go through on occasion. So many people (marketing f***wits actually) delete mail (to their regret when they found out I have not!
The US by and large regards the UK as their unsinkable aircraft carrier. Personally, I expect that in 20 years James Bond will be defending the UK against the US.
Far be it from me to mention that great UK series The Sandbaggers?
Isn't this rather like saying because some areas of the electromagnetic spectrum are safe all of them are?
Personally, I encourage people I don't like to use cell phones as much as possible. Mmmm. Crispy neuons from your friendly hand-held microwave transmitter.
This morning I had to import and scale a graphic for this salesman (nice guy, but knows damn all about computers which is funny, since he is selling networking gear) for use in an Excel spread sheet.
For most people, this is already a complicated task for which they need help. I can't see how Open Office can make things worse for the average user for whom formatting ends with bold, italics, centre, left and right justify.

Remember what happened on that new re-make of Battlestar Galactica! The ships with the linked computer and engine systems shut down and were sitting daggits.
Nope. I'm going to stick with my old carbueretted rusty but trusty MOPAR--It's Cylon-proof!
It costs them to make, they charge ad space in paper to make a profit. Why should on-line be any different?
Besides, I thought giving content ayway on line for free in the hopes of establishing market share in time for an IPO and you'll figure out a way to leverage the subscriber base at some point in the future when the venture capital money runs out was disproved as a business strategy in April 2000 when NASDAQ crashed.
I was running 10.3 on a 300 mHz blue and white and the speed bump over 10.2 for finder operations was a nice surprize. Now that I've got a 900 mHz upgrade in the box, it's even nicer.
Sure it's not the fastest thing on the block, but there's a lot of life in those old blue and whites.
It's the *international* space station. Thanksgiving (as such) was invented in Canada and was a well-established holiday by the time the pilgrims landed in the US.
Regardless, it's a North American holiday. Not everyone in the tin cans spinning above the Earth may have been celebrating it. Of course, it's a US press release, so...

Hi:
When backing up your p()rn, write the date on the disc and transfer it again in under two years. Disc rot on a DVD-ROM is like disc rot on a CD-ROM, only better.
I'm going to be the most popular guy in my cubical farm. The babes will be lining up. Fame. Sex. Better gas mileage. All thanks to my new uber-geek watch.
Most users are profressionals in something else. Is that so wrong?

Hi: Microlasers?
Hi:
But the average American hasn't heard about it so it doesn't count.

Okay, so you're months between clients.
So it goes.
Darn tootin' they don't work.
All these things did was shrink my hand.

If this box appears underfilled it is because the contents may have settled.
Very fair; it'd halt gibberish working at the letter level but not gibberish working at the word level.
Because the world needs more ugly templates and clip art.
Hi:
Easy. Create a filter that looks for any instance of five consonants in a row. There are very few of those in the English language.

Hi:
If it's such a good idea, I expect that management will be joining us.
Be careful.
This is how Airwolf started.
Anyone remember Back to the Future Part 2?
