  1. When you run out of SOMEBODY ELSE'S MONEY to give away. This won't work, it hasn't worked and it will NEVER work. "oh, but we are just getting it from the rich" Yeah, and they will flee the states, countries that have this, and hide their money elsewhere. What RIGHT does someone else have with someone else's property? I think these people that come up with this garbage should allow these people to live in their homes a while, or, take THEIR money and give it away. NO! Tell the lazy butts to get up and work!

Not my money if you want to waste it on stuff like that. Man, can you image Steve Jobs looking at a SIX INCH iPhone and complaining? You don't need a screen THAT big he said years ago.

When I went to 1.5meg DSL then to a whopping 3-6 meg, thought it couldn't get any better LOL. AT commands...there's a walk down memory lane!

Then, the next thing, you will find this lDIOT was: a loner, no social skills, anti social, keeps to himself, few friends, an outsider, quick temper and on and on. But no...let's just make this about guns, how evil they are, how we need to have a serious conversation, rub our hands together, and have a few candle light protests. This kid, from what I have found, won last year, became upset because he lost, blamed someone else, then got mad, went out and got his gun. You can bet if he didn't have the gun, he probably would have used his car. I'll bet, once the smoke clears, you'll find he's another kid that was raised that he can't do anything wrong, coddled by his parents, given participation trophies his entire life, never told no, got into video games at a young age, stayed to himself. Once things unraveled, he couldn't handle it. No, this was not about the gun, the gun was just the tool. Had it not been available, and had some people been able to LEGALLY carry into this place their weapon, perhaps this would not happen. He probably would have used his car, bat, club or something else. Another spoiled brat, that took his own life because he couldn't "man up" and accept responsibility.

  6. should have ended a couple years ago on 'The Big Bang Theory' Is Finally Ending (theguardian.com) · · Score: 1

I started watching in year 6, then went back to watch the first 5, which I thought were funnier. As with any LONG running series, the writers run out of ideas, the actors of the show probably get in a rut, and if it wasn't for the insane salaries they are getting, probably would have booked a few years ago. The "big 3" actors, will probably have a harder time finding meaningful work in the tv industry as they are typecast. The "new girlfriends" probably won't have a hard time, as will the other minor characters. The show lost it's edge & appeal when the nerds all got girlfriends/wives. A series is usually doomed, when you start introducing babies into it. Time to end the series and wrap it up. I just hope, the producers, on the last scene, hopefully have them moving out of the building and, as they get ready to walk out the door, they hear a DING from the elevator and it opens up.

  7. If the job is THAT crappy...QUIT! Go find another job somewhere else, where the working conditions are better. It's a WAREHOUSE job. Most of this outrage about the working conditions, is just a vain attempt by the unions, to garner favor, to unionize the entire Amazon system, which would in effect, kill it. Don't like a job? QUIT. Oh, what's that? You are in your late 20's or older, and the ONLY job you are "qualified" for is a warehouse job or minimum wage? Who's fault is that?

Oh just think of the possibilities. Sniffers to detect pollution, someone talking on the phone, eating a hamburger, all sorts of thinks government could use to bilk consumers out of...of course, all in the name of "safety". Crock of mule fritters!

  9. But, don't let the liberal press, socialist, and other non capitalist tell you that. These companies built the internet connections, it's a business and they should run it. The government should butt out!

  10. But, that being said, I DO NOT, and NEVER have liked any "tax breaks" for ANY corporation. Blame local, state, & federal government, eager to get "them here" so they can crow about it come election time. It's CRONY capitalism, and it stinks! No tax breaks for ANY company, I don't care who they are. Pay the way and stop putting it on the backs of everyone else!

  12. I remember working 911...I started doing it in the very early 80's. By the late 90's/early 2000's everything was down on a CAD screen (computer aided dispatch). I mean everything! Maps, phone logs/calls, dispatch, directory, records checks...everything. Once, the CAD system went down, myself and a few "old timers" pulled out the orange cards I made up years ago. The only reason they were orange was when I made up the card, to mimic our 1st gen computer dispatch screen entry layout, all I had to print up a few samples, was orange paper, so the print shop figured we wanted them all on orange paper LOL. So we pull these cards out and tell everyone to use the cards. It was like speaking in a foreign language...dead silence, mouth open from the "kids". During the outage, one says I don't know where this address/location is. I said get out the map...THAT in itself was a Kodak moment....a map? but...but...but...I don't know how to read a map. If you don't have someone that knows the OLD way of doing something, when technology fails, and it does happen, everything grinds to a hault!

  13. LMAO, more fake man made global warming news on Summer Weather Is Getting 'Stuck' Due To Arctic Warming (theguardian.com) · · Score: -1, Troll

Go look at the SUN data since man has been looking at it. From the 1600's, you can pretty much lay the temperature changes, with relation to the sunspot cycle. In periods of "calm" due to no or very little sunspot activity, along with low to moderate CME ejections, the weather patterns change. In periods of high sunspot activity & high CME ejections, the weather patterns globally change. The Medieval maximum, the global average temperatures were on par or higher than they are today. Now how in the hockey sticks was man responsible for that? During the 90's, the era of "Algore" hysteria, happened to parallel what is called the modern maximum, during solar cycles 22-23ish. It was called "man made" because they were able to play on people's fear of NOT KNOWING the science of the temperature patterns and how people see "history". Pretty much, your view of history, starts when you are born. It's "never" been this good/bad". Plus, they use "shady" climate data. Data from temperature stations on roof tops, with black tar paper, near airports, etc. And, using 4, 5, 10,20 years worth of "data" to stay trends indicate....10-20 years worth of data? In relation to the age of the Earth, which is how many millions or billions of years old? Nope, it's all hysteria, playing on the fear of people, to get the "haves" to give up to the "have nots" or in this case, to bring capitalism down, bring up more global control over everything and make the entire world miserable under a "new world order" to quote a-hole George Bush (41).

I've had people we've hired just not show up and it took days to contact them and they would say I got a better job, or I changed my mind. In the past 10 years, that's only happened twice.
