Had the backup generators been built & placed correctly, had the power company taken the suggestions of the reactor builder,
we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Congrats Japan for stepping back in time to the dark ages. Enjoy this summer of brown outs, no AC, rolling black outs.
You did this to yourself.
The anti-nuke at any price/global warming/enviro-nuts must be really proud of themselves!
is about to take place. The U.S. government will most likely slaughter millions
to achieve its goal of total control over the population.
It doesn't matter if they have an R or a D in their title, the ruling class will stop at
nothing for absolute power.
And if you take pretty much the same data, over time, and show when the sunspot activity grew & shrank,
I bet you would show that the temperature rise pretty much is spot on with the rise in geomagnetic activity
from the sun, which is what heats & cools this rock we call a planet!
But, considering the stupidity of "modern" man, the only thing they will read out of this is that temperatures
are rising!
Back when I was in high school in the 70's, they were talking about a mini ice age....but unless you read
into the article, they finally mentioned the LACK of sunspots & the cooling of the sun at the time.
Several reasons.
1. They live in a DESERT. Kind of hard to grow food in sand.
2. They are mostly uneducated.
3. Too many "kingdoms" and warlords
4. They've lived that way pretty much since the world was created.
Until you change #1 & #2, nothing will change.
What's really cool is the Col. Joe Kittinger (who has the record of 102,000+ feet since I was 2)
is his biggest fan & supporter. Joe did it old school...just throw on a G-suit, space suit, parachute
and jump. When he landed, he popped out a lighter & smoked a cigarette LOL. Times have
changed. That HQ photo of Baumgartner standing on the edge of the capsule is my unlock screen
on my phone. Cool picture. Hope they do one at 120K feet.
from whatever fantasy world you live in, and move to REALVILLE!
You think anything short of murdering every last jew, homosexual, non islam
believing person in the world is going to shut Iran up?
Does the article suggest that the only cost to an employer is the wage they are paid?
You have training, health care and other expenses involved.
Overtime is less expensive to an owners bottom line, than hiring a bunch of new people.
But, in our socialistic driven agenda, profit is bad.
You "occupy" clowns just don't get it do you.
How many poor people have given you a job? Plus, how many poor/homeless are that way
BY CHOICE.
I see them every day. Standing on the corner with a sorry look on their face, dirty clothes with
one of those will work for food signs. Usually they put god bless, a cross or some other symbol
on it, just to tug at your emotions. Time and time again, you see stories where so called homeless
people are not homeless and are not poor. They even caught one guy who was "homeless" holding
up one of those signs, and the police ran him off, and he was spotted getting into an almost new car.
And you have that "human wi-fi" article that was posted a few days ago, and some homeless people
said they would NOT do it, since they make more money from welfare & panhandling than they would
for the wi-fi gig. It's all non taxable income.
LOL, maybe they will be one way missions?
God knows the USA couldn't land on the moon anymore.
It takes them months just to figure out what color to paint the stupid
things! Too many suits screwed up NASA.
Be careful if you are going to do this.
Some stand alone scanners won't allow you to scan currency.
Some color photocopiers at FedEx or the UPS store will lock up
if you scan currency. Most newer machines have a "black box" that
looks for stuff like that. If it locks, then whoever owns the machine may
have a visit from someone to unlock it.
The workaround that some use is if you scan it in b&w mode, or scan it
at 75% under size or over 125% over size.
I've seen my fare share of photocopiers over the last few years lock up because
some church group wanted to print "fake money" for some sort of event.
They got a visit from the manufacturer, and the government to unlock it.
Keep garbage like this up, and you will KILL research.
Yeah, they'll do it for the common good of mankind LOL.
Companies will do it if there is a PAYOFF at the end.
It costs millions of dollars to research ONE drug, and bring it to market.
1 in 1000 "adverse reactions" and you'll see countless "if you or a loved one
took xxx drug, you may be entitled to compensation. Call xxx-xxx-xxxx".
That would cost a company billions. Drug research is a risk, and if there is
no chance of a payoff, they will just stop doing it.
Far from me to be called a "tree hugger", but in the 21st century, we are still reading PRINT material?
Maybe its a generational thing...most my age (mid 50's) probably still read from dead trees, but I stopped
a few years ago. Magazines, newspapers, books, reference material. It's EASIER to find something in
a pdf or online publication than from something printed. Maybe in 10 years or so dead tree printing will
pretty much go the way of the horse & buggy.
Why would anyone buy one of these IN THEIR CURRENT mode?
It's an idea in search of a purpose. I've been shooting photos for almost 40 years.
Unless you are drunk, can't hold a camera steady, what's the use?
If you are serious about photography, don't waste your time on this toy.
So, the next target will be the trucking industry...you just watch!
Socialist/progressive/liberal/save the whales nuts won't be happy
until we are naked, hiding in caves again.
I blame lack of parenting & the dumbing down of education.
Instead of trying to bring the dumb ones up to the level of the smart ones,
we are bring the smart ones down to the dumb level. Outcome based education,
political correct education, taking god completely out of the classroom, single parent
families, teen pregnancy and on and on.
Ask kids about any "save the whales" program, and they can recite it chapter & verse.
But, ask a high school student to name 2 supreme court justices, how a bill becomes
a law or if we are a representative republic or a democracy, and 8 out of 10 students would
probably respond: "dude...I have no clue".
Bringing the vote age BACK up to 21 would be a good start. Bringing it down to 18 just promotes
stupidity in the electorate. 18 to 22 year olds are in COLLEGE. In other words, NOT TAXPAYERS. (for the most part)
Property owners should be the ones allowed to vote. They are the ones with a stake in the game. Not the
welfare bums who's only existence is governed by "where is my check & free stuff!"
If you can get the hard drive out, just carry one personal drive, and the work drive.
If that isn't possible, just fix up a bootable thumb drive with Ubuntu or something similar.
I would NEVER be in favor of online voting. It's too easy to hack the system, no matter how much security
you put in place. Yes, paper ballots can be forged, but, there is a PAPER TRAIL.
I do not like the argument that "it allows for greater participation" because it makes it easier to vote.
Listen Jack...voting is a precious RIGHT. Get up off your lazy bum a** and vote.
And when the food is gone, they will start up their illegal activity....and we'll give them more
food to stop, which they will use up and start the cycle again.
Probably just telling him how happy they are for shipping all of the jobs over there,
taking the economy and how to continue to subvert the U.S. constitution.
They wouldn't find an intelligence gene in DC in the last 50 years regardless of party affiliation.

Amazing....MORE of something but, still they keep up with the "man made" global warming BS.

So, what they are saying is that scientist don't know everything? Color me surprised!
Root it, use a ad blocker & block em.
Tax everything! I'm surprised they haven't figured out a way to tax the air we breathe, to help combat "global warming".

More class warfare from the left.
