I read yesterday somewhere that the movie doesn't take place on Mars anymore either. It supposedly happens on some planet or base somewhere else in the galaxy or something. =[
magnetic nailgun using light sensors to turn on/off electromagnets (did this one as a kid, put the nail through a board)
Teaching 12 year old kids to build weapons is a great idea. While a nailgun isn't dangerous on its own, you can always count on some dumb kid to shoot one of his classmates, either by accident or on purpose.
We saw the northern lights pretty bright the other night downtown here in Lethbridge Alberta, Canada. I've never seen them from inside the city before. It was impressive.
I don't think we're going to see a revival of Dark Match (remember in Unreal 1, all those years back, the dark levels with flashlights? Yes, in Unreal 1. It has been done again and again in the Unreal engine but has never taken off.)
Holy crap. I totally forgot about that. I used to love playing dark matches!
To my knowledge, Apple's system downloads the entire list of available downloads, and then the program itself determines which ones need to be made available to the user.
How is that different from all the junk mail (paper junk mail I mean) that I get? I suppose since the sender is paying for that, it makes it more acceptable, but I bet without all that junk our postal systems would be a lot more efficient, and cheaper as well.
Stopping both at the source is of course the best way, but it's also the hardest to implement. For one, who decides what is junk and what isn't?
$500 is the cost of the computer.
Mac OS X is just the free icing on the cake.
That's exactly what Apple does for iPods, except FireWire instead of USB.
Fuck the police!
It depends. Your suburu also won't last as long, or hold it value as long.
That mercedes could be passed on to your childern. The suburu will fall apart by then.
Other way around. The Suburu is quality car. The Mercedes is cheap junk that rich people buy because they think they're cool cars.
With Windows or OS X, you have to go through a real song and dance to locate and raise a hidden window (which you often didn't want to hide)
Perhaps you should check out Expose.
I have it mapped to my middle mouse button. Since doing that when 10.3 came out, my productivity has increased insanely.
Hahaha. I can't tell if that first site is a joke site or if it's serious. It's so ridiculous it has to be a joke.

Palettes work that way in Mac OS X, but regular windows no longer do. They can be stacked in any order.

What would happen if it turned out Kerry won? Would Bush be forced to concede the election to Kerry?
True. We've only been hearing yours for a year and a half.
The exact same could be said about your crappy joke.
So the French are claiming they invented H-Bombs now? How like them!
I thought that was Al Gore. ^_^
I doubt it. I think Kerry is an idiot too.
But at least he's not Bush!
Fuck the police! Vote Kerry in 2004! Get your civil rights back!
what
I bought a Macintosh ^_^

Post what ISP it is, so everybody knows not to ever go with them.

All games have jerks. Tried playing Starcraft lately? ;-)
The first thing you need to find out is if the campground has power available. If it doesn't, then the cost of this project will go way up.
I guess now I have an excuse to buy a PS2. =P
