But if you had Theftguard and whoever took it happens to plug your PC into a network, you can format your drive yourself.;-)
And since the software stays in the BIOS, you could actually tell it to format a couple dozen times just to make sure the data is completely unrecoverable.

One of my HP machines had a similar setup where Windows 98 (one of my older machines) was distributed as an image on 2 "HP Recovery CDs".
To install Linux on these boxes, I simply resized the Windows 98 partition down to 2 GB and used the other 16GB of freespace to install Linux.
Actually the new G5s can support and address 8GB ram total.

I've already said this above but Longhorn does not use openGL to accelate it's GUI--it uses DirectX 9.
Not trying to flamebait but it'll be a cold day in hell when Microsoft uses openGL over it's own DirectX technology.
