As a mac user I am relatively unaffected by windows exploits.
Windows exploits are commonplace, twice a month events. It's come to be expected. When you take a platform that has zero exploits of this nature, then are told by a company who makes money selling anti-virus software that your bullet-proof OS is now exploitable, you should wait to hear some conformation before running out and buying their software.
I'll agree about the flop at the time, but they sell for amazing amounts on ebay. My father has two that he has vowed not to get rid of. One runs his fileserver for his business. An amazing little machine.
This legislation sucks ass, as does the blank media levy. However, it's nice to know that a money hungry, technically handicapped, morally devoid association like the RIAA isn't unique to America.
Stupid benchmarks, and juvenile "my processor is better than yours" arguments aside, I was pointing out that apple claims that the G5 is the fastest PERSONAL computer. I don't count beowulf clusters and supercomputers as PERSONAL computers. See, the key word here is PERSONAL.
