    OTA tv has been supported by ads for the last 50 years, why is it that media companys suddenly think this model doesn't work? people skipping ads isn't any worse then them ignoring them, hell i've been muting the fucking things for years. maybe try targeting their ads and making them less annoying (and not turning up the volume) and people might feel the need to skip them.

    uhuh. dude you have no fucking idea. sure for a website taking a few 100 meg a day from a few visitors. it gets a hell of a lot more complex when your content is pumping gigs an hour. not only that who is going to fund your team of developers?

    I think if you could grow a brain that was 100% identical to your original, and transfer all of the information from the original, it'd still be you.

    so the OSS crowd have sour grapes about people buying sharepoint and not utilising all it's features? So why even bring sales features into it, since that's not the arguement?

    if people spent even 1/2 the time working on competing apps rather then whinging about MS, OSS might actaully make some headway.

    i think it'll happen, BUT there is one massive hurdle - cell death in the brain.

    i think it's possible we will solve this in our life time if moralists and religous groups don't get in the way of good science.

    i agree with electricians, but not plumbers. i've met plenty of plumbers who have been in the trade 20+ years and are dumb as a post, doing 3rd rate work all the way.

    the problem most people have with trades is in the last 5 years they have become arrogant and jacked up prices beyond a joke, but my haven't the chickens come home to roost....

    ... let me give you 3 rules.

    1. only list relevant experience, if your applying for a DBA position i don't want to waste time reading about how you enjoy cake decorating.

    2. put the good stuff first, i need to skim 100's of these resumes so having to read till page 10 isn't helping your chances that'll see your skills.

    3. keep the format clean and easy to read, don't make my eye's bleed because your going in the bin after page one with pink curly fonts.

    H1N1 can be lethal, it's perfectly sound to want to avoid and it get the vaccine.

    that's rubbish, the length of time symptoms from the flu can last is variable depending on the patient. in my case i have sensitive lungs and i'm coughing phlem for weeks after a bout of flu.

    i don't own a single game console. the only game i play is spring rts which is a brillant free rts.

    i just don't think the wii has a single game that's worth while, and the fact they are grasping at straws by releasing endless remakes of old titles shows it. it also highlights another point you guys brought up, that only nintendo games are on the wii. 3rd parties are the only way you'll get fresh air in that stale room....
