  1. Zombies on 2004 Board Games Gift Guide · · Score: 1

The game Zombies has been a big hit with all my friends. It looks like it's for kids but we're all in our 30s and get a good kick out of it. What's fun is that you win by screwing the other player. Lot's of laughs.

There are also additional add-on packs Zombies 2, 3, 3.5 and 4 so it must be selling well!

how about making an add on unit that basically comprises a higher quality lens. the cell phone provides all the smarts/memory/control/display and the standard cheapo lens for everyday use but when you go on vacation you bring along the extra lens unit and snap it into place. you can now take better pictures and still benefit from the phones' ability to upload the pictures to friends/mblog/storage.

Unless you are really into the particular "world" once you abandon a MMOG I think people evaluate all alternative games on pretty much their own merits.

This is really really stupid. It's like suing crayola cause kids can draw Spider-Man. The game provides the tools to create a character and it's up to the player to make him look how they want.

Is Cryptic supposed to keep a database of all colour schemes of all super heroes that ever existed (also the multiple costume variations they occasioanly pull out to boost sales) and prevent users from picking them. How many do you think there are? Probably over 10,000 from Marvel and then there's DC and all the rest. It's one thing if the game makers were to rip off Marvel but this is entirely different.

If they want to be asses they should follow the RIAA's lead and sue users. I hope somebody at Marvel comes to their senses and stops this BS.

Good point. But perhaps smaller scale or low impact tie ins could be possible. Example a new one time player event that involves killing an NPC means his descendant no longer exists in EQ II but is instead replaced by somebody else. This could be interesting.

Wouldn't it be cool if for example some important event that occurs in EQ I alters the timeline for EQ II. Perhaps there could even be some quests in EQ I to prevent the prophesied upcoming cataclysm! Alternatively the quests to prevent the cataclysm actually cause it!!

From the site I understand the archetypes are fighter, mage, priest, scout, artisan but that isn't too far off from most fantasy type games which follow the conventional D&D type classes of Fighter, Wizard, Cleric, Thief.
