http://www.intrade.com/ where you can in many political, entertainement and world events

http://www.tradesports.com/ Mostly sports but also a bit of world events

Yes exactly. For probably cultural and biological reasons I would enjoy exploring being of another race but changing sex would not attract and would even annoy me a bit. The same way that because of my multicultural background I like to taste food coming from all around the world but would not want to eat fried bull balls. No matter how much you argue that eating the fried balls of a bull (they eat that in Spain) its not different than eating fried chicken, I would not be attracted to that. Call me strange if you want but I simply call that knowing myself and knowing what I like and what I don't like.

I played WOW until 60. My policy was exactly don't ask don't tell. That's why I hate using things like ventrilo because then you hear the big raspy voice coming out of that hot looking priest avatar. But in end game at lev 60, if you want to do raids, you have no choice (ventrilo becomes very useful) and that's when you realize how many women are not women :). I admit that instinctively I felt compelled to help and protect the chicks avatars even if I knew that there was a good chance that she was a dude. Still, personally, I would not be able to play a women. I like role playing and when I was playing it was a total immersion for me and taking the role of a girl is not my thing. No matter the reward. Why? because I am a man man!

If there is no cryonic breakthrough soon enough the company will have to keep storing bodies and wont have any new cash input. After some time the company will crumble under debts and its remains will go to the dump.

The guy who is planning to give himself back is 4 billions dollars should make another trust with lets say 2 billions that will finance the cryogenic institution and also finance research in the field of cryonic. That should boost is chances of coming back.

Exactly, and if we start overanalysing what really matter in everything we do we will end up only eating, reproducing and going to the craper. What's the point of watching sports on TV? To me totally boring and useless, to another something he can't live without. For that reason I can understand people who have pleasure moding those things even if I don't.

I am sure that if we analyse the whereabouts and lifes of the people who always proudly write a "get a life" post, they end up doing lots of stupid useless stuff. The only difference is that the stupid useless stuff they do is accepted by a majority of individuals in our society since long time now and it's arbitrary called "normal".

I use to be a great athlete with a perfect body. I was able to eat any kind of fast food as much as I wanted. 10 years ago during my university years I stopped sports and started drinking to much beer. Suddenly I wasn't able to eat as much as before I got from 155 pounds to 230 (I am 5'7"). Over the last 10 years I have tried and failed many times to lose weight but one thing remained in my mind. If I was once fit I am enable to do it again. I think the reason of my previous failures where that I wasn't trying hard enough; I was thinking: "well I once was slim only exercising and eating as much as I want then I can do it again!". Yes that plan was a total failure. Then I tried only making a diet and it failed for lack of motivation. 2 years ago I decided to make the "Overkill/bullet proof/all out war on weight" plan and got very good results. I started a diet + exercising 30 minutes 6 times a weak plus 4 hours of Tae Kwon Do + 4 hours of Aikido. It did was overkill! I did lost 35 pound in two month. Unfortunately I did not have the will to continue to work as hard but right now I am maintaining my weight at 185. Not perfect but I still thinking that I can do better and even if not doing an overkill plan I still exercisse 4 houres a week and watching what I eat.
