Anyhoo, if one has to work as a truck driver or framer, an engineering degree is quite useless. A 4 year EE degree actually makes it more difficult to find work, so when I apply for work, I describe my degree as a 3 year Comp Sci instead. Nobody has ever asked to see the degree certificate anyway...
