    The fact that you're in mensa really has nothing to do with being ambidextrous.

    I suggest you try therapy, since you obviously have some problems to adapt to society, and it might wipe that smug "I'm-smarter-than-you" grin of your face

    And try using your capabilities for something useful, other than doing monkey tricks with your writing. they're really only feeble attempts to make other people feel inferior, and hardly impress other intelligent people.

    Apple is not known for doing things 'radically new', but more for
    'Taking a good concept/idea that no-one managed to implement in a useful way, and then doing it right'

    MP3 players weren't new when the iPod appeared.

    Spotlight is basically a SQLite db that holds data about documents and files on your system. Metadata is gathered by a sort of 'plug-in' for each different file type.

    A Typical use will be making query's such as: Show me everything agent dero sent me between tuesday and thursday last week. Mails, IM transfered images, you name it... Best of all, since this is metadata based, it's supposed to be lightning fast

    You could envision a plugin that would Spotlightify slashdot threads you read, in theory, and apply the power of a database to it.

    I, as a European, would like to thank our American friends for funding this information for the entire world

    It's very nice to see that an organisation such as NSA makes this info Globally Accessible.
    This is important, especially with your current president.

    Of course, the US benefits from the fact that worms do not spread to the nation of freedom

    So once again, thank you for knowing we exist!

    Konfab was a sluggish, memory hungry app that got more in the way than it did good.

    a lot of noise, but none of it really worth it.

    if you require access to the machine at boot time (IE: if your windows doesn't boot anymore, or you need to GRUb into another kernel) maybe these are useful:

    These toys are super sweet, but uber expensive if you are not SuperGigaUltraCorp Inc.
