I'd say the Vista numbers are uinder represented. When I took the hardware survey it didn't complete - I assume something to do with not running as an administrator. Others may have had the same problem.
I actually find the YouTube videos run faster on Opera. For example, a typical clip lasting 30 seconds in Firefox and IE will be over in 26 seconds when viewed in Opera.
Helix also supports OGG, which RealPlayer 11 Beta doesn't. The web recording facility doesn't go with Opera either. Although it is slicker and seems less evil than previous stuff, lack of Ogg and Opera support mean I personally won't use it as my main player.
One plus of the DS is that however much I use it I can still make calls on my phone. The main problem with my N95 (which is being used as a graphics on TFA, though this may not be Nokia supplied) is that the phone doesn't last long when multimedia items are being used. I wonder if this affects all phones with nice displays - the models may not be there to support multiplayer gaming for this reason ATM.
Socialism is an umbrella term for a number of systems where distribution of wealth is subject to control by the community for the purposes of increasing social and economic equality, just as there are many types of 'Capitalism'. The social-democracy model, the communist model and the anarchic model (and the last two are as far apart as you can get!) can form the basis of socialist states. And a socialist state is not a precursor to a communist state, whatever Fox News tells you.
In terms of whats out there now the Nokia N95 has raised the bar coniderably for feature heavy handsets (though the iPhone has forced things along too, at least in the personal world). Playing leapfrog/catchup with this is a must do for all handset manafacturers wanting a share of the upper end of the market. In addition it is incredibly usable as a phone (though the focus on the camera is a bit iffy).
I tried implementing my own system for a soon to be operational website where the user has to interact with the page before generating a random word and then being asked to enter the nth letter of that word.
It was a choice between using Javascript to get the user to interact with the page (potentially tis can be done in an applet or flash as well) and then generating a random question, or the standard image captcha which I hate.
It isn't foolproof, but it can be beefed up with some server side stuff, at which point I'd stick it on sourceforge. I also figured that variety is the spice of life for defeating captcha robots. This system would be easy to rename things randomly/obfuscate the javascript. Obviously it then only works if javascript is enabled, which may not float your boat.
I actually prefer the Wavebird controller with the Cube - the big feature there is the fact the buttons are all various sizes and shapes so you can feel which is which without having to look down.
I was looking for graphing and charting stuff last year. The only thing I found at the time was ChartDirector. There have been a couple of other open source ones posted above that I may investigate in future, but finding this was what I needed at the time.
Case taken in point, (though Mac Mini's were pushed as 'use it as a DVR with the brilliant EyeTV', which is why I decided to try using it as one) but then the argument I've always heard is that Mac programs are much better designed than Windows programs. I only bring that point up after having so many Mac fanboys bring it up in the past. To be fair I would have preferred something that was Front Row integrated by Apple than a 3rd party product, but I guess they want to shift AppleTV's.
Having analysed the original point of discussion further and noted how I act with the menu bar at the top of the screen I find that I often have to go down to the dock to activate the program at the bottom of the screen then all the way to the top to use the menu for that program (as well as the original not being sure what program is active by the time I get to the menubar issue). I guess they did those efficiency tests before the Dock came into being and the lack of Accelerator keys doesn't help.
On the plus Expose is really nice though I would prefer it if the Alt-Tab style go through windows set up offered all open windows as well (not just open programs, unless there's a different Key combo for that).
Hopefully virtual shopping cart wheels have less of a will of their own than their real life counterparts.

A cabal can steal two presidential elections, trash the constitution, and start illegal agressive wars of conquest, and that's a-okay.
To be fair to them, they only stole one election.
The pirate community says DVD-aaaaarrrrr!!!
Some of us wouldn't settle for notepad. I Personally wouldn't settle for anything less than emacs.
;-)
Notepad is still preferable to vi though
You can also get it on Steam, as I did last week.
OnStar is a useful system to have in case your vehicle gets stolen. Problem for GM is their cars are so bad that noone will even steal them.

Short Answer: Yes
Long Answer: Could someone from MS please get back to me with $50,000?

From a recent cartoon thread.
As parodied here!

I think they just want to see how many years they can keep winning Games Critics Awards Best Original Game at E3.
In the article there is no statement about the Live income - how much is this?

Those crazy Mac users will pay for anything! Just because they can!
