Just because the possibility of their being evidence for something exists, doesn't mean that said evidence exists.
It is possible that tomorrow we'll discover evidence of just about anything, and that's the whole purpose of science, and does absolutely nothing to further the goals of ID/Creationism since there's no evidence to back up either.
I think the point of this article went way over your head.
Yes people have the same name as you, and if that was ever a problem it would be trivial to prove it's not your Myspace profile.
If you look at the definition of religion, you'll see that the main characteristic is belief in a supernatural or divine power. Atheism does not include any such belief and therefore atheism is no more a religion then the company you work for. After all most companies have what you could consider "prophets" (bosses), "congregations" (employees/committees), "sacred literature" (employee handbook), is the company you work for a religion? In fact almost every group of any kind has these characteristics, however the main characteristic that is quite unique to religions is, like it says in the Oxford dictionary, a belief in a supernatural or divine power. Funny how you neglected to mention that characteristic.
See that's where you're assuming wrong. The ISP market is not competitive and free. It's an oligopaly. The only choice customers will have is to either get broadband or not.
A legitimate concern, but with the Blue Frog system at least, the way this was handled was that the system did not identify which email address was clicking the links. All the "clicking" was done by the Blue Security servers, it just added up to one opt-out/unsubscribe click per spam message sent.
Do you really think they only tested the engine for 3 seconds? They've been testing the engine for 3 years now. From all accounts the engine was not the problem either.
So how does switching to Mac or *nix help when, like the article points out, the majority of infections come from clueless users who click on unknown e-mail attachments?
Gotta agree with Myth:TFL the original. I played that game for soooo long. Amazing game, and still to this day unparalleled for a purely tactical RTS. People still play that game to this day.
If what you like out of video games is competition, nothing beats CS. It's so easy to organize 5v5 matches, hop in a server with some friends and it's as if you're in a high stakes shootout with all the tension. There's always TONS of people playing, always tons of competition, it's no wonder it's the top competitive video game around.
Think of it this way, why do you go back and play the same sport you like over and over. Because you like to compete in basketball, or football or whatever. Same thing with CS, it's all about competition, and it'll keep you coming back.
P.S. If you're worried about cheaters, there's many communities that are organized with the specific goal of stopping this threat with sophisticated anti cheat software and admin support.
What is with the fixation on trying to pin everything on MS? The things that stress average people out are not platform specific. Average people can barely SAVE A FILE or install a program. These are the stresses that would apply. No matter what platform you're on people will have a stressfull time doing anything.
As a fellow Canadian, it's dissapointing that some would simply sit back and take cheapshots at the U.S. at every turn. Yes I realize you're probably just joking around, but considering the James Webb Space Telescope is in part being built by the Canadian Space Agency it's a shame (and rather ironic) people like you would sit back and mock the hard work of not only Americans, but Canadians as well.
There's plenty of reasons to make fun of the U.S. - this space telescope definately isn't one of them.
Do they really have the kind of manpower that would be required to keep checking sites over and over if this TLD gets any kind of popularity? Seems like a really dumb idea.

Actually I was talking about the time it takes the star to complete its orbit. Which is written in the top left corner going from 1992 to 2005+. Maybe timeline is not the best word, but the point is the video is not in real time, and that fact is made clear thanks to those time numbers.

How is the video not exactly as it appears? The timeline is displayed in the top corner. The summary even points out it takes 15 years to orbit the black hole. There's no need to 'debunk' that it's not doing the orbit in real time, it already tells you that. Regardless of whether there's still speculation about the existence of black holes, the video is in fact, exactly as it appears.
Montreal is much more comparable to a European city then Toronto.

Creationism has zero evidence for it. It's not science and therefore not worth debating.

The city of Montreal is planning to keep several important bike paths shoveled/salted throughout the winter.

I guess you owe CowboyNeal a punch in the face for having the audacity to run an advertising driven website.
Exactly my thoughts. We need more overt and belligerent patent abuse in order to move along software patent reform.
What other formats can it export to? swf? Seems like a great tool that will hopefully solve the 'chicken and egg' problem with SVG.

Boy, you're a real smart one. It's not like most of SpaceX's employees are from NASA/Boeing/TRW or anything.

How many freakin articles about this do we have to read before it's actually in production? Wake me up when it's ready.

Do people still use Yahoo? I guess being the number 1 most trafficked site on the internet doesn't mean much to Google fanboys.
