I'm also wondering if anyone remembers/played the roguelike Mission:Thunderbolt games. I really liked those, shame the full series never got made!
There are several good reasons not to employ these as a backup solution. Using lots of smaller capacity drives will use significantly more power than fewer, larger drives. Also, these drives are old, which increases the probability that they will fail as they move along the bell curve.
Save yourself the headache and powerbills, and donate 'em.
This is one of the times when I wish I had more Karma to give. I don't know which is worse, the American public's complete uninterest in the sabotaging of our machinery of government, or the complicity of the Democrats in going along with it all.
