That's going to be part of all 7 versions. Hell, It's been built-in for the last 10 years. Just browse to any porn site with their built-in browser, and you will forever be presented with a constant flow of pornographic material. It's a feature!
Uh, no its hasn't. Please (anybody) provide some argument that explains how Microsoft providing a development tool (DirectX) has contributed to a drop in PC gaming.
As an IBM Consultant, I can provide a solution to block his posts for you. For just $80/hr I can begin immediately and have a solution in 6 months. If you choose to have the designed solution implemented, we can move into the development phase. We will easily be ready to put you solution into production no later that Q3 of 2008.
Please call me at (800)IBM-RAPE if you're interested.
I keep my machine running well, so I don't get to play any of their classic games on my home PC anymore. Although whenever I'm visiting relatives I hop on their pc and play that built-in game of Spyware vs. Spyware.
I like the original game and its controls. Picking up and flinging rocks/people without a pre-controlled path or some stupid power bar was loads of fun. Slapping your pet around was intuitive. Managing the leash was a little tough sometimes, but it was ok.
Only thing I didn't like was that stupid Shrine you had to fly around in. Could never remember what room stuff was in.
DVR functions like BeyondTV (which I would be using, but its too buggy), or MythTV if you're on linux.
An average game nowadays can eat up 2-3GB
Normal 2MP digital camera pictures can start to eat up a good chunk of disk space if you take lots of pictures of your kids over the course of a few years.
Plus the average user can always find ways to use up every byte on a HDD by screwing up application options. IE stil defaults to 10% of a HDD for its cache doesn't it? So there's 50GB that somebody will fill up.
"I don't use MS Windows or any other MS products, and hate WYSIWYG word processors (I hated Bravo before it was reincarnated as Word) so a Word plugin is not a great solution, even if it works."
You refuse to accept a solution that works, because you don't like it? Then write it yourself. Somebody might recommend a valid solution, but then you'll just complain that the background color needs to be blue, so it won't work for you.
Maybe you could just accept that the world doesn't revolve around you and if getting something published is meaningful to you, you'll adapt to the requests of the people doing the publishing.

If you take Dvorak's Kiddie Edition, and bundle it with the Porn Edition, do you call it the... no... wait... I just can't go through with it.
It's more disturbing that you publicly admitted so in a comment.
Welcome to the club!
Don't be stupid. You'd leave it outside in the snow banks.
Create a 10 mile high structure. Send water to top. Bring ice back down.
From personal experience, I can say that what prolonged the life of my IBM drive, cuts short the life of a Maxtor drive.
What are you implying, that's only a half-height drive!
Ya know, its been a long running joke that geeks would marry their computers if they could.
With that in mind, I propose making a drive bay mounting system for a fleshlight.
Hey, at least it would be nice and warm all the time.
That was my first hard drive ever. Sent to a dumpster many years ago though.
For the last 2 years of its life, I had to smack it on the faceplate while simultaneously flipping the power switch to get it to spin up.
Still have an XT system in the attic though, but just a dual 5.25" floppy system, no HDD. Maybe in a couple hundred years it'll be a collectible.
Mini Fridge (if you have a very nice cooling system), otherwise you could use it to make beef jerky.
Smoker? - Hummidor
CD Storage - duh
How about a drive bay book - about drive bays!
So? Every game developer is completely capable of shipping their own version of OpenGL DLLs. Its usually a 300KB DLL. Where's the problem?

Yeah, only took 2 hours to get my USB HP scanner hooked up. It came with a crayy USB cable. Replaced that and it finally, mostly worked.
Never got the TWAIN interface working well enough for Photoshop to scan more than 1 image without the scan preview window crashing.

"put the game back into Windows"

"You can learn more about our vision for the New World of Work at"
Did anybody else skim through that at read "New World Order"?
Is the ranking still based on how much "Genuine Intel" hardware you have vs. how many calculations your machine performs?
That previous article was only for a little 500GB, this is half a terabyte! duh! =P
Copying rental DVDs to the hard drive.

Uh... too late. Although I hear Need for Nascar Extreme Underground Offroad Tycoon is going to be the bomb.
I think the ultimate in-car advertisement would be an injury attorney ad printed on the air bag.
Its because oxygen is heavier that ozone, so it falls to the bottom of the earth and displaces the ozone.
Yeah, but you still won't be able to play Gran Turismo 5 on your PC.
