Yeah, it would be interesting to see the server do that. If they could get that to work, I would buy one.

The only problem is that iTunes ALWAYS stores the XML library file in "My Documents" on Windows. They could probably get around this by creating(or adapting) software to sync the library. From what I have seen, the XML format is pretty easy to detangle, and could be re-created by a 3rd party program.

I blame you for such blatant stereotyping of people because they are of a certain political persuasion.

In fact, I think that your attitude is exactly why Kerry isn't in the White House today. Honestly, who is going to vote for a candidate who comes off as very elitst when all of his supporters act incredibly elitist, saying things like you are, that Republicans are bible thumping rednecks, and other assorted insults. It simply alienates a lot of people who wouldotherwise vote for you, even if they disagreed with your moral viewpoints a little bit.

Lastly, grouping people like that makes you look less intelligent.

Exactly. The federal government needs to come in sometimes, when it is clear that leaving it up to the states will harm the rights of citizens.

For example: Civil Rights. In the 1960's, would you allow the states to decide if discrimination was legal? All the southern states would make life very hard for blacks if left to their own devices at that point in time.

My friend works as a consultant, and he was consulting at a company where they decided to outsource some programming to Russia. They get the program shortly before the deadline, and it DOESN'T WORK!!!

So they take the program, rip out all the shit (a surprising percentage of it), and rewrite the whole thing pretty much from scratch in the course of a week. They finally get it working, and hand it into the boss, without telling him how badly they got fucked by the outsourcing. The boss is impressed by the quality of the code, and decides that the next project they do should be sent to the same firm. Luckily, my friend wasn't around the next time they went with the low-cost outsourcing.

Cable can broadcast whatever they want. There was a Supreme Court Decision on it. From what I understand though, the reason why Cable channels don't just broadcast hardcore pornography is that they want to keep their advertisers.

This is why MTV is so tame. MTV could allow uncensored rap/nudity/etc, but the advertisers are too conservative to alow such a thing. It's just capitalism at work.

I have to disagree with you a bit. Ever since getting my D70, I have had more and more "keepers" compared to the total amount of pictures I have taken due to the fact that I am getting more practice(I usually take my camera out every day), and the instant feedback lets me know if something I tried works or not. It has been teaching me a lot about photography.

I just got a D70, and am extremely happy. I already had a nice lens (Nikkor 24-120G VR AF-S Lens) and flash, so it was a no brainer. After selling my old body, it was about $500 to upgrade, and considering how much I spend on film and developing, I saved money.

Some Advantages of Digital for me (I shoot Concerts):
-ISO 1600 is very usable, enabling VERY low light pics like this one.
-Auto White Balance (or simply the ability to change it) alows me to go from outside to inside to inside w/flourescent lights
-I can carry the equivalent of 4 rolls of film on a 1GB CF card, which is more than enough most of the time.
