I don't understand the fuss about this virus. I actually haven't recieved it on any of my email accounts. I blame the users or the people that train them. How come we can train people how to use check their email, surf the internet, play games and use office software. But they don't understand that you don't run an executable file (*.exe,*.pif,*.bat,*.vbs,*.scr) that you recieve in an email that you weren't expecting.
virus protection is pretty simple.
This virus isn't even any fun. It's so easy to avoid, that it's not even a challege.
musicians are supposed to be poor. they are artists and are ment to be struggling to pay the rent. Music is not about money. music is about telling people about the things you have to say.
so we should all steal music and make those musical artists poor again. they should be playing in their local pub, not on an international stage.
My small home network is still using the old coxial network cable, none of the fancy hubs, switchs or cat5 for me.
I've also got a keyboard from 1994, I had to get one of those stupid adapers so I can plug it in to ps2.
I've got a 486 laptop, which is running win95, sort of useless, but still alright as a portable typewriter. The only really problem with it is that i've got network card for it, so i have to plug in a null modem parallel cable to connect it to the network.
Interesting,
That's the wonderful difference between windows and linux flavours (lol, I remember that flavour debate).
You can only get windows in two forms, NT and 9x, that might be nice and standard, but what if you don't like either of them.
With linux you've got a choice between widely differing distros. if you don't like one, then you can try another, all created and supported by different people.
That's the whole point of open Source, you can change it to fit your needs and the great 'standard' thing about linux is that most of the linux software will work no matter which flavour you choose to use.
you guys seem to think that music is dead because of things like MTV and stupid manufactured bands, but these only make up a extremely small population of the musicians in the world. This auto-tuner will probably gain wide use among the manufactured bands but it will never make it to the majority of artists who probably will never be able to afford it.
If all you hear is MTV. Go to your local and listen to the wonderful crap that they play.
