    Actually, I hope you're off on your percentages -- I was hoping it was more like 20% right-wing fanatics pushing their religion vs 20% of the left-wing fanatics wanting a godless, socialized state with the rest of the 60% of us reasoning people in the middle. Meanwhile, a very small percentage of jihadist-wing Islamic whackos are trying to kill us all. I very much sympathize with AZ - it's our worthless, spineless government over the last 20 years who have ignored the basics of the original constitution. Yes, our government is a mess, the alternatives suck even more. What IS the answer?

    Due to energy saving mandates and regulations like this new proposal, California has managed to keep per capita electricity consumption flat (no increase) since 1973 while the rest of the country has doubled per capita usage during the same period. This is a big win for everyone in California and keeps us on the cutting edge of environment and energy policy as well as lowering the costs for everyone in the state.

    I wonder how many exploits will be found in IE before they are all gone. I mean, logically, there has to be some point in the future when IE7 is totally exploit free. To bad that the cycle of software replacements wont let that happen. Given enough time, IE7 and WinXP could be some of the toughest software in existence.
