Uh...I know. I was 18 days old back then, and lived in Kiev. From what I've been told (can't remember:), We, and most people, went on a parade less then a week later, because we were not informed. When they did inform us, we moved to our relatives in another country.
>There are already hitachi CF cards with 4 GB capacity and don't be surprized to see 32GB CF cards in a year or so.
And there are already 250Gb hard-drives. How much a 4Gb card costs? I don't know, but most 1Gb cards I've seen cost $250-300, what makes me guess that about $1200, what does not seem cheap enough for a console. I seriously don't know how can they save by removing the harddrive and putting flash memory instead, unless of course it would have only 64M.

Asia..well yeah, but also Central Europe(everybody uses pirated software, but can't be seen on the streets/shops) and Eastern Europe, where of course everybody uses it and you can buy it everywhere. Same I guess in Russia and former Soviet Union.
Yeah I just wanted to point to this page. And not only the Godfather, there are only 19 movies made after 1990 in the first 50 (sorry, didn't go further, it's 3:AM here after all:)
I almost always play as zerg, so my choice is obvious-mutas. From my experience I have enough time to get at least 6 mutas before a good player can build up a considerable number of zealots, then use these mutas to slow them down while making more mutas. A good zerling rush, on the other hand, can take a weaker player or slow down someone who didn't pay attention for a few seconds:)
Uh, I also have the Logitech cordless mouseman optical, and I must say that I don't really like the shape. It was a present, so I kept it and have a corded mouse as a backup if the batteries die. The problem with the shape is when I put my thumb on the rubber thumb pad (with the button), and my little on the right pad so that I can pick up the mouse (and it's easier to move this way), my other fingers are somehow diagonal to the buttons. The problem I think is in the small bump on the right rubber pad, which doesn't let me keep my little finger parallel to the surface while keeping my other fingers parallel to the buttons. After a few years of use there is a worn-off area of plastic just to the left of the upper half of the wheel, and one to the right of the lower half of the wheel, just at the right edge of the button. Anyway, I wonder if anyone has opened it, and if it is easy to put back together, cause I'd like to clean it.;)
Yeah, I understand what you mean and mostly agree. But I didn't finish my post: the telecom which sells DSL licenses to other providers in our area basically said that this is why they set a 10 gig limit, and are now planning to introduce some kind of weird packet management (dropping them based on priority). Anyway, some providers decided to increase the monthly payment for everyone, also increasing the limit so some users who just check their email pay for more bandwidth they don't use. Well I still agree with you, it's not really stealing, but it is increasing the cost to providers, which must it by increasing prices.
Maybe not directly, but yes they (and your file-sharing friend;) do. Statistics of our local DSL providers show that about 10% of users use up to 80% of total bandwidth.

Wasn't there a Full Throttle sequel (Hell on Wheels, IIRC) coming? And then I think it was also canceled. Damn, this sucks.

You only turn on your TV to watch commercials?
Reloaded is not a service pack, more like WinME (maybe not as bad ;) SP2 is, and it would be free.

No, the "all new interface" is 90% the same. Won't stop me from using PS.
Well maybe he is trying not to be biased, and write just that, a "review", and not to convince anybody.
